About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to join our team at the Moorland Kitchen, Exeter Airport. This is a fantastic
opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise while ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

* Culinary Expertise: BTEC or NVQ Level 2 in Hospitality Management or Professional Cookery, plus at least 1 year of professional
chef experience.
* Operational Efficiency: Knowledge of stock control, minimising food waste, and working in a busy kitchen.
* Health and Safety: Strong understanding of Health and Hygiene Regulations, with the ability to ensure safety standards are met.
* Flexibility: Able to reliably access the airport for early shifts starting as early as 3 am. A £2 per hour uplift is offered
for early morning shifts (3 am - 6 am). Availability for weekend and evening work is also required.
* Leadership Skills: Ability to supervise kitchen operations and mentor junior kitchen staff.




Key Responsibilities:

* Food Preparation: Follow recipes and cooking methods to ensure consistent and high-quality dishes.
* Stock Management: Handle stock efficiently, ensuring proper storage and minimising waste.
* Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and safety in all kitchen areas, reporting any issues promptly.

Desirable Skills:

* Level 2 Food Safety certification
* Current First Aid at Work certificate

About Us:

LED Enterprises, a subsidiary of LED Community Leisure, oversees three hospitality outlets: Ocean, Pavilion, and Exeter Airport.
It is an exciting time to be part of our Food and Beverage Team with the recent opening of Moorland Kitchen and the commencement
of the Peak Summer Season. Our outlets, including Coastline Café, Cove Café, Moorland Kitchen, and Tor Bar, cater to a diverse
range of travellers. Please note that early starts are required due to the nature of the Airport, but there are no very late
finishes.
