Job Title: School Chef
Location: Copper Fields School, Gunnislake
Salary: £20,000.00 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9.00am - 2.30pm
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a School Chef to join our new Options Autism School - Copper Fields School in Gunnislake.
About the role
To be responsible for the planning and preparation of high-quality food and catering service to the school.
To manage and supervise all kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
To plan menus for the pupils and school staff with reference to their dietary needs
To set up and clean down the kitchen areas before and after day to day use
To ensure that necessary preparation is undertaken for the day/weekly demand/needs of the Centre
To be observant of the need to minimise waste
To provide suitable food to staff/pupils with special dietary requirements
About the School
Our New Options School - Copper Fields School in Gunnislake, Cornwall. The school will have capacity for 60 pupils ages 4-16 years old and is due to open January 2025
