Oversees the work performed by those attorneys, including litigation briefs, memoranda of law, pre-trial discovery, analysis of evidence and other legal activities and documents related to sensitive litigation issues, including those involving questions of first impression and with conflicting precedent that require extensive research, analysis and/or ingenuity to resolve.

Provides technical support and guidance to subordinate staff members and is designated the responsibility for the operation of various service functions such as the Warehouse, Laundry/Clothing Issue, Trust Fund (commissary) management, sales (Trust Fund Accounting and Commissary Systems) and the inmate telephone systems.

Serves under the supervision of the Trust Fund Supervisor, and is charged with assisting in the managerial responsibility of the inmate services throughout the institution/complex.

Along with all other correctional institution employees, the Assistant Trust Fund Supervisor is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on regular and recurring basis.
