You will

• Serve as the single point of contact for Plan Holders and Brokers throughout the case implementation process.
• Educate customers about Guardian capabilities, required information, and timelines to set clear expectations to drive a positive implementation experience.
• Communicate and manage implementation timelines and milestone dates, monitor progress, and remove barriers.
• Facilitate the timely gathering of implementation information and enrollment data to ensure accuracy of the first bill and a positive customer experience.
• Lead calls with Brokers and customers to set expectations, obtain information regarding the implementation, and answer customer inquiries.
• Understand and influence (when applicable) the customer’s upfront enrollment/re-enrollment strategy. 
• Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure a successful implementation and that administrative system are set up correctly.
• Identify opportunities to streamline, improve and evolve the end-to-end process and enhance the customer experience.
• Proactively anticipate and address customer questions, troubleshoot, and resolve implementation issues timely.

Reporting Relationship

You will report to a Team Leader, who reports to the Head of Implementation, Group Benefits Operations.

You have

• 3 years of insurance industry experience or equivalent in a service-related function
• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience in business, operations, or related field preferred
• The aptitude to promote consumer-centric decision making.
• The ability to accelerate impact and lead and embrace change.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Position Summary: 

The Insurance Billing Specialist’s main focus is to obtain maximum and appropriate reimbursement for Bozeman Health and all related entities,  hospital (HB) and/or professional (PB) claims from third party payers.  Supports the timely development and accurate submission of claims to third party payers to include insurance follow-up related to no response, returned claims, denied claims, or claim edits preventing claim submission, submitting corrected or replacement claims, and combining hospital accounts in accordance with payer billing policies.   Monitor, resolve or escalate payer denials, returned claims, claim edits, correspondence and report payer claim processing behavior to assist with identifying systemic issues that may require process improvement to strengthen the health of the Revenue Cycle as well escalating identified concerns to the HB or PB Supervisor.   Collaborate and coordinate with other Revenue Cycle functions or departments to resolve DNBs, claim edits, denials that are preventing  timely claim submission or appropriate reimbursement.  Prioritizes and completes accounts routed to billing WQs to reduce accounts receivable days and escalates high-dollar accounts or systemic issues to either the HB or PB Billing supervisor for resolution.   

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• One (1) year of general or medical office experience
• Preferred: Epic experience
• Preferred: Completion of program in medical billing degree or certification program
• Preferred: Two (2) years of healthcare hospital and/or professional billing experience

Essential Job Functions:

• Submits timely and accurate claims to primary, secondary, and tertiary insurances for both electronic and paper submission
• Follows up on applicable No Response WQs and Rejected Claims WQs through phone contact or written correspondence to ensure that no account reaches 180 days old from discharge date and still due by insurance, regardless of dollar amount
• Reviews accounts by verifying that reimbursement amounts are appropriate, coordination of refunds, if appropriate, and submitting adjustments for approval when necessary, routes claims for appeal, resubmits claims, or moves balances from insurance responsibility to patient responsibility when appropriate
• Ensures that claims have appropriate information on them for submission to insurance companies or agencies by reviewing claim edit WQs and other prebilling insurance WQs and escalates systemic issues identified to supervisor
• Assists Customer Service with claim processing questions
• Identifies and escalates concerns regarding claim processing to Billing Supervisor

Summary of the role

• You will assist with the monthly invoicing of UK and Australia customers.
• You will support the monthly disbursement of client funds through BACS payment scheduling.

• You will assist with completing our UK VAT and Australian GST returns on a quarterly basis and the reconciliation of multi-currency bank accounts.
• You will be responsible for being current on the latest Industry and Compliance requirements including FCA mandatory training in order to assist in the completion of Anti Money Laundering Checks and FCA compliance tasks.
• You will support the Finance Manager with any financial administration activities as required.

Meaningful Work From Day One:
The Temporary Finance Specialist is a key team member focused on enabling the utilization of Vistaar PSM and RM across the US regions. Temporary Finance Specialist is an expert user of the platform who maintains a thorough understanding of the pricing/discounting environment across all markets, and working together with the relevant local market resources (B-F and distributor), is responsible for accurate and timely price structures and reimbursements processes. 

Temporary Finance Specialist is responsible for updating Vistaar PSM and Combo Planning for markets in need of additional resources to enable the market/distributor to utilize Vistaar RM for discounting calculation, validation and payment.  This role also provides support for DA processing while Vistaar RM is being fully implemented. Temporary Finance Specialist also supports the general administration and maintenance of the platform (including testing and rolling out of all platform enhancements) as well as providing support for non-Vistaar reimbursement processes across markets.

What You Will Do In This Role:

• Support local teams with creation of/updating price structures, ensuring price structures/deal levels are up-to-date and reflective of market conditions.

• Support local teams with maintenance of combo planning, ensuring combos are planned and reflective of the date available.

• Update shelf price and deal mix. Ensure Price Structures represent current COGS.

• Support geographies with discounting invoice process, including detailed tracking and confirmation of invoice/deal level details vs. agreed upon support levels, utilizing the Vistaar solutions.

• Discounting invoice process may also include responsibilities outside of the Vistaar system, depending on timing of systems rollout and data availability.

• Maintain the highest level of expertise (systems administrator) in B-F price structures and reimbursements platform (Vistaar).

• Maintain a thorough understanding of pricing and discounting environment across markets, including but not limited to understanding discounting levers allowed/used in each market by distributor, pricing calendar/filing deadlines, etc..

• Troubleshoot systems issues, coordinating with end-users, IT, Vistaar and VIP.

• Serve as key contact for testing platform enhancements as rolled out by Vistaar.

Position Summary: 

The Hospital / Professional Insurance Billing Supervisor is responsible for assisting with planning, directing, organizing, monitoring and staffing departmental services subject to policies, budgets, objectives and directives mandated by regulatory agencies, DNV and the hospital executive team in collaboration with the Patient Financial Services (PFS) manager. Oversees and coordinates the insurance billing function for Bozeman Health and all related entities, to include insurance follow-up related to no response, returned claims, denied claims, or claim edits preventing claim submission. Supports billing staff in maintaining team discipline to support the accurate and timely claims development and submission to payers to maximize reimbursement for the system. Conducts training and education for all billing functions to prevent and mitigate returned claims or claims denied due to lack of timely response or timely filing requirements.  Collaborate and coordinate with other Revenue Cycle functions or departments to resolve discharged not billed (DNB) or claim edits that are preventing timely claim submission.  Monitor denials, returned claims, claim edits, and payer claim processing behavior to assist with identifying systemic issues that may require process improvement to strengthen the health of the Revenue Cycle as well escalating identified concerns to the PFS manager.   

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Business or Accounting; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
