Position Summary and Responsibilities:

This Finance Director/Senior Manager will oversee all finance activities for Teledyne LeCroy’s Test and Measurement Group. Primary activities include providing financial analysis and counsel to multiple vice presidents and general managers regarding business results and actual performance against plans and forecasts in a multi-facility/multi-division global environment.

• This individual will have overall responsibility for preparing financial statements, reports and analysis for our business. This individual will prepare and maintain a complete set of financial statements which includes a balance sheet and related financial reporting information including a profit and loss statement, summary of cash flows and supplemental financial information.
• Additionally, this individual will be responsible for preparing the annual business plans, monthly forecasts and capital budgeting, as well as oversee the financial statements prepared for other affiliates within Teledyne’s T&M Group.
• Works closely with assigned vice presidents and general managers in the areas of financial and business reporting to include: proactive analysis of business trends, forecasting and budgeting, government proposals and reporting requirements and working capital management.  Partner with VPs and General Managers in developing, monitoring and evaluating overall corporate strategy with emphasis on top and bottom line performance and maximizing working capital and cash flows. 
• Prepare quarterly finance and business updates alongside Teledyne LeCroy Management; participates in the quarterly OPS Review with Teledyne’s executive management.
• Identify, analyze, and implement initiatives in support of 80/20 metrics and goals.
• Actively participate in the ERP/IT system implementation project. T&M is consolidating several IT systems into one IT system. Additionally, drive the change management of the business processes to support this initiative.
• Establish, maintain and document strong internal control processes meeting Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance requirements. Ensure internal controls are functioning effectively across the group.  Communicate with internal and external auditors as required.
• Develop and train financial staff to ensure accounting records and financial reporting is prompt, accurate and meets business requirements. Motivate and lead a high performance Finance Team; attract, recruit and retain required members of the management and finance team; provide mentoring as a cornerstone to their management career development program.  Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment. 
• Establish and maintain a set of key financial performance indicators for prompt decision-making.
• Act as a liaison to appropriate corporate executives regarding the understanding our goals and objectives.
• Manage strategic/business planning process and effectively oversee the multi-location/multi-currency accounting and treasury Finance Teams.  Ensure proper global consolidation and accounting supports key management initiatives.
• Manage information gathering process for federal, state, local and international tax compliance obligations.

Qualifications:

• Accounting/Finance degree required
• Knowledge of accounting, budgeting, forecasting and cost control principles including generally accepted accounting principles
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Solid supervisory skills
• Participation in ERP system implementation/upgrade
• Public accounting, internal audit experience strongly preferred

Summary of Role:

The Director of Procurement and Supply Chain Finance will partner with Supply Chain Management to extract hidden competitive advantages in the company’s sourcing, procurement, logistics and distribution chain. This job will create structural transparency and accountability using KPIs. This role will represent the finance agenda in a variety of projects from transformational to tactical that are aimed at improving the financial outcomes of our worldwide operation. These can include maximizing revenue, minimizing cost, reducing inventory, reducing supplier pricing, etc. This position will be one of the leaders tasked with increasing the analytical capability and data driven decision making in procurement and supply chain.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Create and implement a clear strategic vision of how Finance can enable supply chain to optimize the business and organization. Build an organization of analysts to partner with the Operation to achieve financial commitments.

• Provide strategic business leadership with Executive Supply Chain Management on initiatives and sequencing to create a company competitive advantage in sourcing, production, logistics, distribution, and procurement cost and sourcing

• Be one of the organizations strongest change catalysts and set that pace within your team of analysts

• Develop multi-year cost and capacity target and glide paths in line with revenue and profitability targets through production and sourcing strategies

• Develop cash targets, inventory goals and BOM targets that tie back to P&L model financial goas.

Global Credit Financing (GCF) is a financing business focused on the origination, financing, and securitization activities of various debt based products for the Bank’s core clients. GCF is a product vertical under the Global Markets Financing and Resource Management Group (GMF-RMG) which manages the allocation, deployment, and optimization of financial resources such as capital and balance sheet on behalf of and across the Global Markets Division.

The successful candidate will help originate and structure U.S. residential mortgage financing and ultimately help execute residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) securitizations.  The role operates in a fast-paced trading floor environment. The incumbent’s mandate is to focus on activities that will help drive the growth of the GCF business in the US. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Major Activities:

• Preparing any necessary documentation and assisting in the process for internal deal review and approval.

• Responsible for helping with the growth of the desk’s strategy and efforts by developing and executing strategic plans to expand our product market-share and develop potential new products

• Initiate and manage the execution of structured transactions, evaluating and prioritizing transactions based on the rate of return on regulatory capital, probability of closing, ease of repeat transactions, and number of potential alternative applications.

• Monitor competitor activities, market conditions and report significant developments to relevant stakeholders

• Partner with internal and external clients to understand their objectives, identify and analyze the risks they face

• Work in tandem with structured marketers to identify specific client needs and opportunities and to build sector strategies.

Ares management Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Manager to lead, manage and implement process and infrastructure improvements for the US Direct Lending strategy.  This individual will be responsible for implementing operational improvements across the end-to-end deal lifecycle for the US Direct Lending business, working across various functions.

The individual in this role with continuously improve and re-engineer workflows across the business unit, along with supporting infrastructure teams to enhance the efficiency and scale of the operation.  They will serve as the main representative for the business and build strong partnerships across all teams supporting the business unit.

The role will sit within the newly established Business Management function, a strategic advisory team focused on front-to-back business unit process, technology, and infrastructure optimization and will report into the Head of Business Management. 

This function currently sits under the Investment Operations umbrella.

Role Description:

Strategy & Planning

• Partner with business counterparts to identify operational pain points and formulate process improvement solutions
• Help with the planning process as it relates to the US Direct Lending operations, including – technology needs, headcount, and infrastructure improvements

Operating Model Execution

• Develop a detailed understanding of the end-to-end investment lifecycle of US Direct Lending deals, including – process, people, and technology
• Continuously improve and re-engineer workflows across the business unit, along with supporting infrastructure teams
• Continuously review the deal lifecycle processes to make improvements and optimize day-to-day activities for the US Direct Lending operations
• Execute strategies to digitize data and processes for efficiency

Infrastructure Optimization & Benchmarking

• Stay current on new technologies, 3rd party service providers, and market trends to advise on infrastructure and technology stack improvements
• Run vendor assessments and proof-of-concept for new technology solutions
• Partner with Technology and Functional teams on target state architecture and prioritizing technology and service solutions
• Develop/improve KPIs for more insightful operational analytics and trending over time
• Participate in benchmarking studies to stay current with industry standards & peer group

Business Engagement & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the main representative for the business, ensuring operational priorities and issues are communicated clearly across the infrastructure groups
• Help with planning and materials for the Business Reviews
• Partner with business and functional teams to identify operational pain points to formulate and implement process improvement solutions

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree is required from a top academic institution
• Master’s or other advanced degree considered a plus

Experience Required:

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in management consulting, Strategy or COO function
• Excellent PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Data Analytics & Visualization, and Visio skills
• Commercial mindset with experience improving business processes, with a proven track record of driving transformation
• Previous experience with planning, designing, and implementing business operating models
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and interact directly with investment professionals
• Industry knowledge and experience with Alternative Investment asset classes, particularly Illiquid Credit is preferred

• Documentation – Ensure that labels for spools are filled out properly.  Able to read and respond to warping charts, layouts, and instructions.  Complete applicable JDE move tickets and yarn check in sheets accurately. Responsible for entry of all spools in log book.

• Lifting – able to remove warped beams of yarn, weighing up to 80 pounds, also able to move large boxes of yarn weighing up to 120 pounds.

• Basic Warp Knitting Operator:

  • Fabric damage repair, responsible for replacing broken ends and repairing minor damages in the knitted fabric in gauges up to 64 gauge.

  • Knitting Records – Responsible for recording accurately all damages encountered during production.  Also responsible for recording all webs doffed from machines.

  • Beam Loading – responsible for hanging beams on knitting machines and properly loading and threading the yarn according to the layout.

  • Layouts – responsible for reading, understanding and responding to written specification in the form of layouts with regards to:  threading, setting, needles, start up.

• Machine Repair – Responsible for minor machine repair so that production will not be impaired.

Wright Public Entity serves as a management company providing claims administration, risk management & loss control, underwriting & marketing, and client services in New York. We also act as a TPA for Workers Compensation for various self-insured schools & municipalities in New York.

The Adjuster position will manage Workers’ Compensation claims within specific limits and authority.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate and gather information to determine compensability by conducting three-point contact interviews with the employer, claimant, and healthcare provider.

• Secure and file necessary documents, including FROI & SROI forms with the NYS Workers’ Compensation Board, claimant, and claimant’s attorney.

• Establish reserves, authorize payments & treatment within the NYS Medical Treatment Guidelines, under set authority.

• Examine and authorize payment of medical bills.

• Recognize and refer cases when IMEs are indicated.

• Prepare and instruct counsel to defend our interests for hearings at the NYS WC Board.

• Respond to written and telephone inquiries from claimants, clients, attorneys, doctors & vendors.

• Establish proper cost containment techniques, vendor referrals, recoveries & strategic case planning.

• Recognize cases that meet the criteria for reporting to the Excess Carrier.

• Negotiate settlements.

• Control the disposition of the claim process from investigation to settlement.

Position Requirements:

• Exceptional telephone demeanor.

• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

• Prior experience in adjusting New York State workers’ compensation claims.

• New York State License is required or obtained within 6 months of employment.
