Your new role

• Managing the outstanding sales balances falling due and ensuring payment of outstanding invoices by appropriate use of e-mail, letter and telephone contact with our clients.
• Sending out statements of accounts to our clients.
• Recording all communications made with clients.
• Sending out copy invoices to clients.
• Liaising internally with fee earners and the E-Billing Administrator progress any problems regarding invoice delivery and/or payment.
• Daily banking of cheques (when received) and manage the Barclaycard merchant services account.
• Posting receipts on to our IPT system and allocating the payments to outstanding invoices.
• General sales ledger administration to ensure our client records are kept up to date.
• Maintain the Sterling, US$ and Euro cashbooks.
• On-boarding new clients to include financial risk assessment, AML, terms of business and client engagement letters.
• Regularly meet and discuss with the Credit Controller and Financial Controller the position on new clients, debtors, cash collections against targets and any related issues.

The duties will consist of the inpatient care (Medway Maritime Hospital) and outpatient care of patients and other surgical Consultants' patients when they are on shift. The Speciality Registrar will admit and clerk patients to the Medway Maritime. Admissions at weekends and out of normal working hours will be clerked by the duty House Surgeon or Senior House Officer. The Speciality Registrar will check the admissions and treatments giving advice and arranging treatment or operation after consulting the Registrar or Consultant concerned. The Speciality Registrar will normally seek advice from his/her Consultant before referring patients to other specialties. The Speciality Registrar is responsible for all the patients under the care of the Consultant Surgeon(s) to whose firm they are attached at the time and for the patients of all the Consultant Surgeons when 'on-call' and when covering for their colleagues. The Speciality Registrar will refer to their Consultant when problems exceed their authority and experience and they will support andadvise the House Surgeon who will refer to them. This role will work as a key member of the mental health team in HMP Swaleside. The Dual Diagnosis post will support people recovering from mental health issues and coexisting substance misuse needs through developing and maintaining links with local partners in the prison - particularly mental health partners - and providing direct short-term case management support to people using the service.

The Dual Diagnosis Lead will offer a range of support to promote personal recovery and independence

including:
• Support a short-term caseload of clients providing solution-focused support with issues such as mental health/substance misuse
• Crisis Planning – promoting self-management through individuals building an understanding of their own triggers/coping strategies.
• Liaison and joint case management with key partners and involved professionals, including GP, Crisis teams, and wider stakeholders within the prison
• Active Referrals/Signposting – working with individuals to identify resources/services within the prison to meet their needs and providing appropriate support to access these effectively.

Main Responsibilities

You’ll be covering our current Finance Manager who will be on hand to offer a hand over into the role. You will be required to cover the following areas;

• All financial reporting for the business, including statutory accounts, overheads and shareholder reporting
• Presentation of the above to various stakeholders (Exco, FMT, FLT)
• Management of the month end process end-to-end ensuring all ledger entries are accurate
• Balance sheet reconciliations and monthly variance analysis
• Management of external reporting compliance, including banking covenants, CAA and ABTA
• Management of trust account relationship and reconciliation of trust account position and advance receipts
• Reviewing and submission of all tax compliance (CT, VAT)
• Audit management (internal and external)
• Overheads cost control
• Maintaining an effective control environment supported by processes and systems to safeguard the company’s assets and reduce risk
• Development of systems to improve the production efficiency of those accounts
• Provide support to the other areas of finance as required, but particularly during busy times
• Continual analysis and improvement of finance processes
• Ad-hoc projects and other data analysis as required

The Ideal Candidate

We need the Finance Manager covering this role to demonstrate the following skills and experience;

• Hold a professional finance qualification
• Have up to date IFRS knowledge
• Be a competent user of Finance Systems - Dream / Workday preferable
• Advanced excel skills
• Experience in a Travel/ Tour Operations setting preferable
• Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills
• Be organised and methodical and able to complete tight deadlines
• Can work in a task focused environment

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Pathology Programme Manager to join our dynamic team within the newly Kent and Medway Pathology Network.

Offering the chance to lead a programme of work that will fundamentally change ways working, digitising current processes and creating a platform for the introduction of cutting-edge AI technology. The post holder would work within the current small team who have delivered the approved business case and would work across the Network to facilitate all interactions of the interested parties, delivering a robust and resilient and fully integrated digital pathology reporting system over the lifetime of the project.

Being part of wider exciting programme of change the successful candidate will have detailed knowledge and understanding of complex IT systems, their development and interoperability with other key enterprise systems.

As the Digital Pathology Programme Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the digital pathology project from implementation readiness to completion. Scoping and developing ancillary and complementing technologies, such as AI, will also be part of your remit.
