They are a highly reputable corporate business but with a small company/family feel.In this role, you will lead their client accounts team based in Norwich City Centre. The role of Client Accounting / Property Accounting Manager is to ensure the effective financial management of client property portfolios and align processes across the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Understanding and keeping up to date with rules and regulations of service charges
• Liaising with Accountants and property managers to ensure compliance with RICS guidelines
• Liaising with Partners and senior staff prior to the take on of new accounts/properties.
• Relationship building and management of Partners expectations involving visits to other offices.
• Annual/ Quarterly overseas tax reports
• Maintain department's metrics/KPI's.
• Unsettled receipts after clients
• Arrears chasing
• New client/tenant set-ups.
• Transfer accounts
• Stand-alone bank reconciliations
• First point of contact for staff and client complaints
• Arrange and conduct training for new members or staff.
• Understanding of team responsibilities to cover during periods of annual leave/absence.

Other Responsibilities:Financial Management and Control

• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting for client property portfolios, including budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in cash flow management, balance sheet control, and budget compliance.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, surveyors, and internal departments.
• Act as a point of contact for client finance teams, providing regular updates and resolving any financial queries.

System and Process Improvement

• Standardise workflows and procedures across the team to ensure consistent service delivery and compliance.

This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours between Monday and Friday. Core hours in the business are 9-5.30, but there is flexibility for the right applicant. A hybrid working policy is in place of up to 1 day per week working remotely, but this is currently under review and could increase in the near future.


What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be a fully qualified accountant and have experience working within property or agricultural industries. You will ideally have experience using Qube or Re-Leased software packages and have exposure to a system's migration process, but this is not essential. You will have strong leadership qualities, staff management experience and take a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will have strong analytical skills and be accustomed to working with a portfolio of clients.

Functions as a Warehouse Worker Foreman, responsible for work on a rotational basis, that includes the warehouse, commissary and clothing issue/laundry operations at a Federal Bureau of Prisons’ facility.

Supervises inmate workers who are responsible for receiving, storing, shipment, and issue of a wide variety of supplies, materials, equipment and commodities required in the operation of the facility, as well as, the issuance of inmate clothing and laundering of items for inmates and institutional operations such as Health Services or Food Service.

Responsible for the inventory control of materials for the institution which consists of receipt, cataloging, stocking, and issuing of all incoming materials from outside sources.

Maintains adequate shipping and receiving documents and inventory documentation, using both manual procedures and automated data processing systems, so as to maintain a system of perpetual inventory accountability for all items that pass through or remain under incumbent’s control.

• Review work products to ensure they are completed, accurate, comprehensive, and well written.
• Participate with the E&I Director and Deputy Director to maintain effective working relationships with the credit union industry, federal and state government agencies, and the general public
• Influence, in concert with the E&I Director and Deputy Director, agency planning and policy.
