Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) has been successful in securing funding for Wave 11 MHST to be based in the across Cheshire. Successful applicants will join existing locality based MHST's (Ellesmere Port, Chester, Crewe and Macclesfield) to support the extension of the MHST offer into schools, sixth forms and colleges. Demand for these places is expected to be high so whilst the advert is only live for a week it is expected to close early. With this in mind it is important to get the balance of submitting your application promptly but making sure you highlight your qualities, experience and knowledge within the application to make you stand out over the other applicants.
Please also note that the interview process will take place at Crewe Campus of Cheshire College. The interviews will take place on either 17,18 or 19 June and consist of a young person's panel and traditional interview, unfortunately no alternative dates will be considered.

Typically trainees will be at Greater Manchester University two days a week with the other three days being in service, some of the teaching days may well be accessed remotely or via online platforms. For the 3 days per week in service, trainees will be based in schools and colleges in the Ellesmere Port locality. University will start in September 2024.
Due to the location of the teaching and the distance from the work placement, ability to travel easily and swiftly is imperative so commuting needs to be considered by candidates.
