Applications are invited for a Substantive Hepatology Consultant at Royal London Hospital. The post holder will join a team of eleven consultant Hepatologist in a cohesive department which strives to provide excellent patient care in a large teaching Hospital in East London.
The post holder will work alongside the established hepatology team to support provision of inpatient and outpatient care for patients with general hepatology problems. There is an expectation that the post-holder will lead the clinical service in an area of interest which may include metabolic liver disease. They will be expected to be involved in the delivery of service in area which are in great demand within the department and develop patient pathways for management of patients across the NE London network.
The post holder will undertake teaching duties of undergraduate and postgraduate medical staff and other professional groups (such as nursing and pharmacy). He/she will also assist in local research projects.

The successful candidate will be required as a minimum to fulfill the following criteria within this role:
1. To have and maintain full registration with the General Medical Council. Medical Staff are advised to continue membership of one of the medical defence organisations.
2. Continuing responsibility for the care of patients in his/her charge, including all administrative duties associated with patient care.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Heart Failure Specialist Nurse to join a supportive and inclusive team who want the best for our patients and each other.

Working within the inpatient heart failure team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital including cross site working at West Middlesex Hospital.

The post holder should have expertise in cardiac care provision with a specific interest in Heart Failure. The post holder should have an extensive experience of cardiology and the ability to work autonomously.

As an autonomous practitioner the post holder will be required to manage their own caseloads including nurse-led clinics, telephone consultations and heart failure programmes with support from the lead Heart Failure Nurse. They will also provide support, management and education to cardiac in-patients within the Trust.

The post holder will be actively involved in the development of the heart failure services both internally and externally. This will include developing digital initiatives including Virtual wards, undertake audits, quality improvement activities and participate in the strategic development of the service.

This allies with the direction of travel within the NHS for smarter ways of working.

This is a developmental role in which the successful applicant will be supported to develop their skills and knowledge in heart failure both formally and in clinical practice. An opportunity has arisen for a fixed term contract Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the North Kensington and Chelsea Community Mental Health Hub. The post is from the starting date until November 2025. The team is located in W9 close to Westbourne Park station, with great transport links and serving the diverse community of North Kensington. We are looking for an Occupational Therapist with motivation and enthusiasm for working in a community mental health role.

The post holder will be a valued member of the team and will offer Occupational Therapy assessments and intervention for clients as well as supporting the overall work of the team by providing a named worker role for some clients and supporting the overall work of the team.

The team consists of medical staff, nurses, social workers, peer support workers, community navigators, arts therapies, employment specialists and psychology staff. Although the post is fixed term, we will support the post holder in seeking a permanent position within CNWL when the fixed term period ends.
