Salary: £40,000 per annum FTE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week. This could be made up of two part-time positions.
Location: Head office, Exeter and Eaglescott airbases, with frequent requirement to travel to various locations, primarily in
Devon but also within the wider South West region, and opportunities to work remotely.

THE ROLE
The Patient and Family Support Clinician plays a crucial role in offering support to patients, their families and bystanders
during some of the most critical moments of their lives. You will provide clear explanations of illnesses and injuries, and the
care received, in order to guide individuals through complex and often traumatic experiences. You will also contribute to
clinical governance and play an active role in driving quality improvement initiatives to influence the evolution of patient
care.
We are looking for a total of whole-time hours, so the position could be filled by a combination of part-time hours.
THE CANDIDATE
We're looking for a registered healthcare professional with a minimum of 2 years' post registration experience who has a strong
history of prehospital or hospital based critical care. The role will suit someone who is self-motivated, resilient and able to
handle conflict and differing opinions effectively. The successful candidate will be able to identify trends and themes from
patient and family experiences, and deliver education sessions to clinicians, the wider organisation and external stakeholders,
all while being committed to the vision, mission and values of Devon Air Ambulance.
THE PACKAGE
Salary: £40,000 per annum FTE.
