We have an an excellent training opportunity for 4 Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians (PTPT) at Watford General Hospital and St Albans City Hospital.

This role will provide you with comprehensive training, and you may be required to work at either site to gain diverse experience.

As a post holder, you will participate in the rotational training programme for pre-registration trainee pharmacy technicians.

This is a two-year apprenticeship, consisting of one day per week dedicated to study and four days of work-based learning.

Upon completion of the two-year programme, you will earn a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians, qualifying you to register as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

South Kent Coastal Mental Health Together+ Team are currently looking to recruit 2x Band 3 full-time Support Time Recovery workers; the posts will be based at Coleman House in Dover.

Our service focuses on promoting recovery for those people diagnosed with severe and enduring mental ill health, as well as providing services to Older Age clients with ongoing mental health needs and dementia.

Esteem Noth Academy is an AP academy for permanently excluded pupils or those at risk of exclusion. We currently have 3 sites in the north of Derbyshire and have around 315 pupils on roll over these 3 sites. This role will be based at the High Peak site which caters for both secondary and primary aged children.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to support the team and work to ensure that the breakfast and lunchtime provision is effective and can allow the site to continue to function. Lunches may be out- sourced to an external catering company and so there may be little in terms of preparation. There is no catering kitchen on site. This role may involve organising the ordering of lunches, serving of food and drink and also learning support in class where required, particularly in food lessons. Duties will also include supervision of pupils over lunch, cleaning away afterwards so that lessons can continue swiftly and support for the GCSE food classes. This midday post is a new role that is now required to support the staffing team due to increased pupil numbers. There may be approx. 45 pupils on site. Pupils may have varying behavioural and educational needs including ASD, ADHD, ODD and social, emotional, and mental health needs. We require support with the organisation and clearing away of breakfast, and of lunch distribution.

Reporting daily to the Site Lead, the ideal candidate will be experienced in food hygiene, motivated and a caring individual who has a passion for supporting children and working as part of a small team. The School Business Manager will line manage this post.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning Disabilities Nurse. Working in the community as part of a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency team, the post holder will provide specialist nursing interventions to adults with a learning disability.

The KCHFT learning disability team uses a positive multi-disciplinary model to provide direct specialist clinical expertise, behavioural and engagement support and access to developmental opportunities to people with learning disabilities and their families and carers.

We also facilitate reasonable adjustments to enable people to access mainstream healthcare services where this best meets their health needs. The multi-disciplinary teams of Occupational Therapists, LD Nurses, Speech & Language therapists, Physiotherapists and a specialist Vision and Hearing service work in five geographic localities across the County and
work in an alliance with the social care teams for Kent County Council (KCC) and the LD teams within the Mental Health Trust (KMPT) to provide a co-ordinated and holistic combined service for people with learning disabilities.

As a LD Nurse you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate holistic care linked to packages of prescribed care.

You will support in the supervision and development of all junior staff including Health Care Support Workers and Students.

You will ensure that resources are used effectively, planning workload to meet the priorities of patient care by the most efficient use of time, equipment and manpower and other resources (medicines, medical devices)

In addition you will undertake a range of competent clinical interventions to support the outcomes of both individual and group therapy.
