The ETD Delivery Manager is a senior role responsible for managing the day to day delivering of the ETD programme training courses within SECAmb, ensuring the successful delivery of programme ( such as, employee development, learning, experience, and emphasise on SECAmb’s commitment to fostering a culture of continuous self-improvement.) through the provision of expert project management guidance, support and assurance to Executive decision makers and senior stakeholders.



The post-holder will have responsibility for this complex programme and will be expected to lead the day-to-day management of this 24-month workstream.

The Delivery Manager will initially work to implement Phase 1 of the Programme, which includes all the legal, contractual and Trust training for all staff and clinical staff staring in April 2024.

This will then grow to include the development and launching of a comprehensive training cycle for the entire Trust to includeManagement, Command and Corporatetraining by April 2025.

This stage will also include thereview of the current learning systemsto improve compliance and tracking, ensuring consistency of approach in how this programme is delivered within these all departments across the Organisation.

The role of an NHS 111 Call Handler (Health Advisor)

When you ring 111 or 999, your call goes through to a call handler based in one of our 3 Emergency Operation/Contact Centres. These staff are trained to use the NHS Pathways system to provide assistance in a variety of situations, from minor illness to life threatening situations. The assistance you will provide will range from offering lifesaving advice whilst an ambulance is on route, to directing callers to other more
suitable services.

This role can be demanding, challenging and ultimately very rewarding however, it's not for everyone. Applicants will need to have a range of skills to be able to deal with often stressful and emotional situations, whilst also demonstrating compassion and empathy to all callers, no matter what the situation.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Strategic Command team on an on call basis as the Strategic Medical Advisor (SMA). The role forms an integral part of the NHS response to major, complex and critical incidents, providing advanced medical advice at a range of emergency incidents.

This role provides a 24 hour on-call capability across the Trust geographical area.

The SMA is principally responsible for monitoring overall hospital capacity and ensuring the tactical level has access to the clinical resources it requires, particularly if national mutual aid is required from other sectors of the NHS.

The successful candidate will display natural leadership, drive and determination and will have an understanding of the Trusts Major Incident Plan and the specialist resources we have within the Ambulance service.

The ideal candidate will be able to negotiate and influence across multi-disciplinary teams at a strategic level.

You should have pre-hospital care experience working in a pre-hospital environment e.g. Ambulance Service, BASICs service, Air Ambulance etc.

Salary
On call only- £15,000 per year payment split over 12 months + Statutory Holiday pay at 12.07%

Provide specialist guidance and support to the ambulance incident coordination centre, assessing the medical implications and response to any major or mass casualty incident, as well as rising tide and public health incidents.

Before additional medical resources are requested the Medical Advisor (MA) and Ambulance Incident Commander (AIC) should agree on their role at the scene and consider if this is the most effective use of resources.

Communicate with MA to establish the nature and complexity of casualties’ injuries so that appropriate plans and preparations are made to distribute patients.

Ensure that appropriate Clinical advice is available (e.g via on scene expertise such as CCPs) to the ambulance clinicians and HART Team(s) attending the scene to ensure that the best possible outcomes for patients are achieved.

A key role will be ensuring wider patient safety within the Organisation during an incident.

To communicate clinician to clinician with the Acute Trusts and Foundation Trusts who are providing casualty receiving facilities or on standby to receive casualties. The Acute Trusts should be able to provide accurate information about each participating Acute Trust capacity for theatre, critical care and bed availability. Clear information from the MA about children as casualties and burns patients is particularly important.

As Bid Finance Analyst, you will be part of the Thales Bid Finance Team, delivering cost engineering and turning estimates into prices for the Thales UK businesses. This position will commence in summer 2024 and offers a varied role with exciting and unique learning and development opportunities. The ideal candidate will portray strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organisational and time management skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Working within the Damage Recovery Centre* and Non Fault Claim** team of over 300 people, the successful candidates will be trained, developed and progressed through our various teams. These include our claims support teams, claim examination and billing teams, general recovery teams and our litigation teams. All teams offer varied roles and progression.

*The Damage Recovery team oversee all damage claims related to our 100,000+ vehicles in the UK & Ireland for Enterprise, National, Alamo & Enterprise Car Club.

**The Non fault claims team oversee the processing, monitoring and recovery of all our UK non fault claims. These are when a customer is involved in a non fault accident and Enterprise provide a replacement vehicle and repair services.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Claim examination
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Internal account management
• Individual claim cost recovery
• Critical account claim cost recovery
• Operational support to all operational departments
• Foster and maintain a positive and fun work environment
• Maintain and improve a strong system of internal systems
• Oversee the accurate and timely completion of workloads

Qualifications

Attributes needed for this role will be:

• Strong analytical, communication & organisational skills with the ability to pay attention to detail
• A demonstrated ability to prioritize and juggle multiple competing tasks & demands
• Intermediate knowledge/proficiency of a variety of computer software applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Good interpersonal skills and an ability to maintain sensitive information and records

The successful candidate will:

• We accept applications from all second year undergraduate university students, regardless of university attended and subjects being studied.
• Be able to pass a security check including financial probity/basic criminality
• Students must be available to commence the placement during summer 2024 for 12 months

• Salary: £20,000 per annum
