Credit Risk Models:

• Develop, maintain, and monitor predictive models for credit scoring, fraud detection, and suspicious activity prediction.

Experience and Qualifications

• Degree (PhD, Master's, Bachelor's) in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.
• Proven experience building risk models such as Application Score, Behavior Score, PD, EAD, LGD (Basel or IFRS 9), especially for retail customers in diverse countries including Singapore.
• Comprehensive understanding of risk management throughout the customer journey within fintech or risk-focused environments.
• Domain expertise in retail credit products, banking, and regulatory frameworks (Basel, IFRS).
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, Snowflake and Data Visualization tools like Tableau.
• Technical proficiency in data retrieval, data modeling, data mining, and predictive modeling.
• Strong familiarity with advanced machine learning techniques, statistical classification/regression for credit risk.

Job Description

The Finance Executive plays a crucial role in supporting the financial health and efficiency of the organization. Your responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting in financial planning and analysis. You will work closely with the Finance Manager to provide insights and recommendations that drive strategic decision-making.

Job Scope

Accounting and Bookkeeping:

• Responsible for the full spectrum of accounting functions.
• Responsible for monthly management accounts and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure timely invoices/bills registration.
• Prepare and process sales POs - following up closely with debtors for sales proceeds.
• Prepare and process monthly payroll & CPF and employee claims.

Financial Reporting and Budgeting

• Responsible for financial policies and procedures, budgeting and tax.
• Responsible for annual/ biannual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Ensure timely financial closing and reporting functions – monthly.
• Prepare monthly management report and highlight the financial performance and financial position of the company to the finance manager’s review and action.

Compliance and Audits:

Cash Flow Management:

• Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.

At the full performance level major duties include: 

• Directs and conducts bank supervision and examination functions, with a view toward assessing risk, as well as strengthening and improving the condition of the assigned organization.
• Directs or conducts the ongoing analysis and evaluation of risk management practices and the financial condition, business initiatives and future prospects of the assigned organization and its affiliates to assess the potential risk to the deposit insurance fund.
• Monitors corrective action taken by the assigned organization to address supervisory concerns and in conjunction with the assigned senior case manager, case manager and supervisors, determines the adequacy of remediation steps taken by financial institution management.
• Meets with financial institution officials or regulatory counterparts to exchange information, and recommends appropriate supervisory strategies.

Job Description

• Participate in the implementation of credit risk management framework including underwriting, credit limit management and risk based pricing.
• Monitor the performance of risk indicators to finetune and enhance credit risk management policy by conducting data analysis.
• Responsible for evaluating the credit worthiness of new credit applicants and monitoring the ongoing financial performance of existing credit customers.
• Responsible for risk model evaluation and continuously monitor its performance to ensure the stability and accuracy of risk strategy.

Requirement
