The post-holder will provide medical leadership to theForensic Intellectual and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (FIND) Community Team in South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust. The FIND Community Team works with adults with a diagnosis of a Learning Disability and/or Autism who also experience co-morbid mental illness alongside offending behaviours which have brought them into contact with forensic services.

The development of the FIND Community Team is part of a series of initiatives for this patient cohort, namely the opening of Oak Low Secure Unit on the Springfield site which facilitates the repatriation of out of area patients to South London and the development of the LDA community step down service with Local Authority and ICB partners to allow the development of a pathway into the community for these patients with the provision of supported housing with wrap around clinical support.

The FIND Team will provide community treatment and care coordination, including social and clinical supervision of restricted cases in the community (under Section 42 of the Mental Health Act 1983) and theConsultant will carry overall responsibility for the day-to-day clinical care, risk assessment, risk management, treatment and rehabilitation focused care delivered by the Team in the community.

What You Will Do:

The energy transition requires trillions of dollars of investment to fund clean energy generation, energy storage, transmission, and grid upgrades, EV charging, building decarbonization, and more.  Financing these projects is critical priority for national, federal, state, and local organizations. You will work with public sector institutions to help ensure that capital is deployed wisely and ensure that risks are appropriately assessed and compensated.  

  

Key responsibilities include: 

• Performing project and/or corporate finance due diligence and analysis on projects in the clean energy and mobility sectors to assess their financial feasibility and risk with respect to financial performance, operation, management, governance, and legal, and achievement of expected financial outcome.

• Evaluating project business plans for reasonableness and confirming that the plan’s financing requirements, structure, and funding plan are reasonable and consistent with industry norms.

• Reviewing financial and commercial elements and structure of contractual arrangements (e.g. Offtake, EPC, O&M, Input etc.) and confirming they are reasonable and consistent with industry norms.

• Confirming that financial data, forecasts, and assumptions in the business plan align with key contractual terms and they are reasonable and accurately reflected in the project financial model.

• Identifying and assessing project risks and advising on mitigation strategies

• Working collaboratively with market and technical advisors to advance client objectives

• Assisting the client in loan negotiations by evaluating financial impacts of terms under negotiation and advising on mitigation strategies.

• Assisting the client with preparation and review of credit approval documents, including risk and recovery matrices and Credit Committee and/or Board Presentations.

• Reviewing financial terms in loan documents and confirming they are consistent with the term sheet, financial model, contracts etc. and advising the client as appropriate.

• Supporting the client during the monitoring phase on changes in external and/or internal factors evaluated during the underwriting phase and advising on appropriate mitigation strategies.

• Building and maintaining relationships with clients

• Supporting the development of team capacity through coaching and development

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or other relevant field

• 3-5 years experience with financial advisory, infrastructure finance, or project finance

• Experience with building or analyzing financial models, analyzing creditworthiness of potential projects or their sponsors,

• Adaptability and desire to learn a variety of sectors

• Fluency in English

• Ability to travel as needed

Who you are:

• Guides Sr. Lending Advisors efforts to develop external referral sources and develop new client relationships with the expectation of capturing increased wallet share for Mechanics Bank.

• Coaches and supports Sr. Lending Advisors in developing a network off external and internal referral sources.

• Supervisory responsibilities and business relations:

• Participates in joint business calls and Realtor office meetings/presentations. Assists with pre-call planning, and post-call review and debrief.

• Coaches team to effectively interview borrower(s) and obtain sufficient information concerning the borrowers’ qualifying income, assets and other critical criteria required to determine whether a loan may be an acceptable risk to the Bank.

• Reviews pipeline milestones to ensure timely file submission and resolution of requests for file documentation from Sr. Lending Advisors so customer expectations relative to loan closing are met or exceeded.

• Coaches sales team and/or staff to promote other Bank products and services to strengthen client relationships.

• Assists with the structuring of loans by his/her team to ensure that maximum profitability and productivity are achieved without impairing the quality of loans or the level of customer service.

• Evaluates borrowers’ needs, assesses borrowers’ eligibility and suitability for certain products and negotiates acceptable product solutions utilizing product specialists as needed.

• Inspects the preparation of mortgage applications, and works closely with production teams and other support personnel to assure a high level of quality in each mortgage application presented for approval.

• Supports recommendations for approval based on reliable information and thorough analysis, and provides support to Sr. Lending Advisors during file discussions with Underwriters and through the loan arbitration process.

• Develops and maintains positive working relationships with other business units in order to meet client needs by providing additional services. Brings in other business partners or refers to other units as appropriate.

• Performs all other job duties as assigned by supervisor.

Who you are:

• 10 or more years of related mortgage lending and business development, and experience in managing and coaching lending and /or banking teams in meeting division objectives.

• 4 year bachelor's degree highly preferred, additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

• Lending Market Leader positions are expected to adhere to Bank policies and procedures designed to comply with the S.A.F.E. Act regulations. In addition, the Lending Market Leader must register under the S.A.F.E. Act and ensure their registration is kept current while acting as an originator of home secured loan (home equity loans and lines of credit).

Job Summary

Located in Chicago, IL, this Senior Risk Manager is responsible for the Corporate Risk Management function inclusive of: risk finance, Captive insurance company reporting and oversight, loss prevention, and claims management.

Essential Functions:
 Responsible for participating in formulating policy, suggesting & coordinating Enterprise loss prevention and control activities, and determining risk financing mechanisms
 Designs, negotiates and approves Property and Casualty Insurance for the Enterprise
 Manages the Corporate Property & Casualty claim payment process: Includes mass tort class actions, anti-trust lawsuits, directors and officers lawsuits, cyber liability incidents, managed care and insurance company liability actions; oversees process from initiation to settlement proposal; negotiates claim resolution with insurance carriers as needed
 Manages relationships with insurance brokers, Property & Casualty underwriting community, and other third-party administrators, and other risk-related service providers
 Manages day to day operations of the Company’s captive insurance company, including monthly claims reporting, annual regulatory filings and audit
 Oversees the finances over the Captive insurance company including forecasting, development and ongoing management of the investment plan, dividends, and inter-company loan programs
 Has responsibility for the creation and maintenance of the Captive’s plan of operations (business plan); provides updates to regulatory authorities on changes to the business plan as needed
 Reviews contract language as requested by Procurement and Legal; evaluates risk and provides recommended edits to decrease HCSC risks in engagements with third parties
 Review and respond to insurance provisions provided in RFPs. Provide alternative language to comply with existing insurance policy terms
 Facilitates management review of insurance program recommendations and oversees subsequent placements
 Designs and maintains the Corporate Risk Management policy and related operations manual
 Prepare and update renewal applications for various insurance policy renewals - Managed Care/ Errors & Omissions, Directors & Officers, Employment Practices, Fidelity Bond, Cyber Privacy, Fiduciary, General Liability, Auto, Property, Umbrella, and other special lines of coverage; conducts underwriting presentations to insurance markets
 Gathers Data From Facilities, Legal, Managed Care Departments, etc. for Insurance Policy Renewals
 Oversee the maintenance of the insurance policy databases and electronic files
 Works with the company’s insurance brokers to respond to requests for certificates of insurance and claims history documents
 Stay abreast on industry standards and trends in order to analyze potential risks in changing operating environments related to the Affordable Care Act, new business ventures, contracts, acquisitions, and lines of business as they relate to HCSC Operations
 Update and maintain Risk Information Management System data
 Conduct annual carrier exposure true ups and confirm additional premiums due
 Manages the work of direct reports in Corporate Risk Management

Required Job Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance or relevant degree.
• 8 years of experience in Risk Management, Claims Administration, Insurance Brokerage or Underwriting.
• Qualified Risk Manager under the Nonadmitted and Reinsurance Reform Act (NRRA).
• Expert in P&C Insurance, including appropriate federal and state legislation, reporting requirements.

Overview & Responsibilities

This role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. The main focus of this position is finance, but there will be cross training in the order management, procurement, and operations functional business areas, as well other assigned functions. Job responsibilities: 

1. Understand and execute to the policies and procedures defined in the Systems Delivery Methodology (SDM) and the Project Management Office (PMO).

2. Perform as an Oracle finance functional analyst responsible for analysis, solution design, testing, and production support of Oracle EBS Financial Modules and Oracle EPM (FCCS and ARCS).

Related Work Experience:  5+ years.

Experience with maintenance support of Oracle EBS R12 Financial Modules and Oracle EPM is required. Oracle EBS modules include General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management (CM), Projects, Costing, Tax, and Fixed Assets (FA). Oracle EPM modules include Financial Consolidation Cloud Service (FCCS) and Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS). Experience with SAP is a plus.   

Technical Skills:  
•    Theoretical knowledge of networks, PCs, Servers, Database Management Systems.
•    Working knowledge and experience with at least one commercial off-the-shelf application software system.
•    Microsoft desktop operating systems and office applications and Google Workspace.
•    Knowledge and experience with data extract, transformation, and loading techniques and programs is a plus.

You will investigate and maintain property or catastrophe claims . You will determine liability, secures information, review coverages, arrange appraisals, and settles claims. You will report to the CAT Property Claims Manager.

We are hiring for two roles. The first role will be deployed ot the field when a catastrophe occurs. This role offers a company fleet vehicle is provided with the position and there's an option to use the vehicle for personal use. You'll receive incentive pay of $150/day (Monday-Friday) and $200/day (weekends and holidays). Ideal candidates will preferrably located in the midwest or Texas. You will be required to travel up to 75% for CAT duty.

The second role is a combination of CAT field and desk claims. This role doesn't include a fleet vehicle or CAT pay. Travel is anticipated to be up to 50% of the time.

Compensation Maximum:$90,000 / year

Primary Accountabilities

• Investigate origin and cause of claims by contacting the appropriate parties including insureds, claimants, agents, attorneys, contractors, experts, special investigation unit, other adjusters, public personnel, etc.
• Identify complex issues and seeks assistance as needed. Handle claims on a good faith basis.
• Handle both 1st party and 3rd party claims under multiple policy types and numerous endorsements.
• Conduct on-site inspections when needed, evaluates damages, and handles claim negotiations with insureds, claimants, attorneys, public adjusters.
• Respond to customer inquiries, makes appropriate decisions and closes file.
• Interpret and determine policies, leases, by-laws, declarations, articles and contract coverages and applies to all parties for assigned losses.
• Provides all parties with claim process and status; answers questions or redirects to other areas.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
• Demonstrated experience handling 1st and 3rd party, multi-line claims across our operating territories, or other equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience handling moderately complex claims, or other equivalent experience.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of policies and endorsements related to casualty coverages, or other equivalent knowledge.
