You will be part of engaged and motivated teams delivering high quality strategic/tactical management information and analysis, which will support our stakeholders and allow them to make informed business decisions.
This is an exciting role in the Income Accounting Team function within Core Finance, where the successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders such as funding partners, executive leads and internal finance teams, to support the agency's financial position by ensuring we are adhering to mandatory requirements and carrying out financial health assessments.
Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Agency’s Accounting Officer by assessing proposals and providing professional advice.
- Scenario planning and modelling for relevant income streams.
- Leading on associated audit items and assist on clearance of management letter points or GIAA recommendations.
- Assisting with accounting assumptions, financial judgements and any associated financial disclosures for relevant income streams.
- Supporting project and finance business partners to undertake financial health assessments around income.
- Assisting and provide assurance that mandatory requirements (such as HMT guidance and Cabinet Office controls) are adhered to.
- Working with and supporting internal and external stakeholders such as funding partners, executive leads and internal finance teams.
