The University of Brighton Academies Trust is seeking a qualified, skilled and professional Safety and Compliance Manager to promote, develop and establish a positive safety culture within its professional services teams and academies to meet its legal requirements in terms of Health, Safety and Compliance. The postholder will take responsibility for operational matters relating to Health and Safety Planning and Management and contribute to the Estates & Facilities Management Strategic plan.

The post holder will report to the Director of Estates & Facilities Management and will be the primary point of contact for all Health, Safety and Compliance matters. The postholder will be responsible for effective day to day operational support, management, monitoring and development of Health and Safety for 15 Trust academies and Central Service Teams and their locations.

The role includes the use of CAFM software to connect service users and to improve efficiencies. The postholder will have a proven background in Health and Safety Compliance with excellent management skills to develop, drive and guide our central and academy teams.

The successful applicant will be experienced at developing a positive Health and Safety Culture within a multi-site organisation, achieving high standards of health and safety management and have the maturity to build strong relationships with academy staff and their respective teams to implement, monitor and review ways of working to successfully meet these standards. They will have responsibility for all operational elements of health and safety management across the Trust.

The Estates & Facilities Management team are looking to appoint an experienced Building Services Manager who can confidently communicate with our stakeholders and lead on the delivery of building services to our academy partners.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic self-starter who is used to working in a busy team but with minimal supervision, in the delivery of our estate’s management services.

The role of Senior Client Relationship Manager (CRM) is crucial for the success of the Retirement Advisory group. This person will be responsible for a portfolio of retirement plan clients and will work alongside Plan Advisors to develop relationship strategies and ensure fiduciary wellness. The Senior CRM is the day-to-day point of contact for Plan sponsors and service providers. They will work as part of a team, coordinating plan reviews and benchmarking, overseeing vendors, and leading participant education initiatives. They may also conduct investment reviews and offer fiduciary training for retirement plan committees. This is a consultative role that focuses on understanding and responding to the needs of the clients. The Senior CRM is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction by proactively providing solutions, anticipating concerns or issues, and seeking feedback.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Provide excellent client service that aligns with our company's values and reputation.

• Review and prepare quarterly investment reports.

• Update client records on Salesforce (CRM) and PlanTools (investment monitoring system).

• Organize fiduciary review meetings, collaborate with provider partners on action items and other deliverables, and create meeting minutes and client communications.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

Education, Training and Experience:

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $130,000 - $150,000 per

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to develop, manage, retain and expand client relationships within the affluent market segment with responsibility for loan and deposit growth, revenue generation, and revenue growth. This will be achieved by being the single point of contact for Private Banking clients; providing concierge level personal service and providing a full range of customized financial management services to clients.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

• Strong knowledge of the banking industry

• Ability to identify, solicit and close new business opportunities to meet specific sales and marketing goals

The Senior Risk/Finance Manager will develop, execute and manage the financial planning and systems strategy for the Risk Management Team.  The Risk team is composed of finance, operations, legal, and risk professionals whose primary mission is to protect the $6 billion enterprise from catastrophic financial loss while providing cost effective risk management and insurance solutions that mitigate operational risk and contribute to competitive advantage and profitability.

Responsibilities

Cashflow and accounting process management:

• Develop models to forecast program revenues and expenses

• Oversee department cashflows and ensure timely processing of all risk payables and receivables

• Support insurance related monthly accounting transactions

• Perform analysis and compile annual, monthly, and ad hoc financial and/or risk reports

• Analyze program performance to assure cost effectiveness across all business units

• Prepare internal reports and communicate results to senior management

Risk reporting system administration:

• Maintain Risk Management Information System (RMIS), inclusive of all essential project related documents, insurance schedules and claim activity

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to develop, manage, retain and expand client relationships within the affluent market segment with responsibility for loan and deposit growth, revenue generation, and revenue growth. This will be achieved by being the single point of contact for Private Banking clients; providing concierge level personal service and providing a full range of customized financial management services to clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Tax planning and tax compliance

• Monitor China tax and financial legislation changes, determine the impact and communicate to manage the impact of legislative changes;
• Lead daily tax tasks, including tax filing, forecast and analyzing, ensure high standards of tax compliance with tax regulations, accounting principles, corporate policies and procedures;
• Oversee VAT compliance process to ensure timely and accurate filings;
• Lead VAT technical analysis and ensure proper tax position for VAT related matters;
• Interface with local tax authorities and government agencies on tax assessments, tax audits and any relevant tax issues;
• Interface with global tax team, global TP CoE team, and coordinate with local functions for transfer pricing policy and other global tax policies interpretation and local implementation;
• Assist on Pfizer global initiated merge and acquisition initiatives including joining local financial or tax analysis, data preparation and implementation;
• Assist on the legal entity service agreement arrangement including charge model and rate of service fee set up so as to obtain the most tax efficiency;
• Lead project to obtain most favorable tax treatment to different business lines including VAT zero rate application, high-tech company qualification to enjoy most favorable tax treatment;
• Assist on or obtain government subsidies to improve company financials.
• Interface and working with Customs authorities to ensure the most favorable duty tax treatment;
• Prepare tax reports/analysis within required schedule;
• Support tax planning matters in relevant APAC markets.

• Business support

• Provide tax advisory to business units and controllers, HR, keep updated with China tax laws and regulations;
• Support local initiated business development deal discussion and decision making including local M&A, in-licensing, co-promotion or co-marketing deals. To get the most benefit for Pfizer and also ensure the deal is sustainable;
