The Senior Cloud Engineer is a crucial role within the Cloud Operations Team, focused on the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and services on the Azure and AWS Cloud Platforms respectively. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud-based solutions, including compute, storage, networking, and security components. You will lead the response to incidents related to AWS resources and Azure resources, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. You’ll configure and manage monitoring solutions (e.g., CloudWatch/Azure Monitor) to track resource utilisation, application performance, and generate alerts for potential issues.
What you’ll bring
- AZ-104 and AZ-400 certifications required
- Extensive experience with Terraform and IAC is essential including Bicep and Ansible Min 5 years
- Vnet peering, Express Route, NSG, AAFW knowledge and experience is essential Min 5 year
- Github Actions and Azure DevOps experience is essential Min 3-5 years
- Experience with Linux essential Min 5 years
- Good Working level Knowledge of AWS including Route 53, EKS, EC2, Kubernetes, MSK, ScyllaDB
