Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Senior Finance Executive to join their team in Singapore. What you'll do:
As a Senior Finance Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing a diverse and varied workload in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include performing monthly closing activities, extracting online bank statements, preparing schedules for journal entries, performing bank reconciliations, assisting in preparing reporting packs and quarterly cash flows. You will also be responsible for performing intercompany checks and reconciliations as well as preparing non-routine journal entries. Your role will also involve providing supporting information and liaising with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries and designated service providers.
- Manage diverse and varied workload while ensuring accuracy, timeliness and attention to details.
- Perform monthly closing activities.
- Extract online bank statements and ensure completeness of transactions entry in system.
- Prepare schedules for journal entries including audit fee, tax fee, corporate secretarial fee, intercompany balances.
- Perform bank reconciliations as assigned.
- Assist in preparing reporting packs and quarterly cash flows.
- Perform intercompany check and reconciliations.
- Prepare non-routine journal entries such as capital call, capital redemption, dividends, intercompany, etc.
- Provide supporting information and liaise with auditors, tax agent, company secretaries and designated service providers.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Finance Executive position will bring a strong background in accountancy or accounting. You should hold a diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or ACCA equivalent with 3-5 years of working experience. Proficiency in MS Excel is a must. You should have the ability to manage a diverse and varied workload while ensuring accuracy, timeliness and attention to details. Experience with monthly closing activities, bank reconciliations, and preparing reporting packs and quarterly cash flows is also required.
- Diploma in accountancy or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or ACCA equivalent with 3-5 years of working experience.
