There is no minimum number of hours that you need to work, although it is recommended to work as often as you can to ensure your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service is retained.
Weekdays, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available, which are easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps you’ll have the shifts at Tŷ Grosvenor secured that you want.
Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join the team as a Bank Healthcare Assistant with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, plus have access to a range of benefits including free meals on duty, free parking and more.
What you will be doing
You will join the team that works well together to provide care for people with Mental Health conditions. Whether you are currently a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker or Care Worker, you will utilise your experience to support people to lead a valued and fulfilled life.

The service operates 24/7 with 12.5 hour standard shifts. As a Healthcare Assistant on our bank you’ll be on a zero hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose which shifts you want to work each week.

Tŷ Grosvenor hospital, Brenig ward offers specialist therapies and treatments for men with a Mental Illness and/or Personality Disorder. The ethos of the service is Work, Rest and Play and focuses on equipping service users with the appropriate skills for community living.
There is significant emphasis on accessing mainstream resources within the local community, providing patients with opportunity to develop robust community skills. The service is located in Wrexham, North Wales and just a short walk away from the town centre, cafes, restaurants, leisure facilities and local colleges. Using community resource will assist patients in generating social networks external to the service that can be utilised upon discharge from the service, mitigating potential relapse or isolation.
