Rotations on offer include respiratory, MSK outpatients (including aquatic therapy), neurology (including ABI and stroke rehabilitation), orthopaedics, amputee management, joint community rehabilitation, and rehabilitative services.

There is a comprehensive in-service education programme within the physiotherapy service and staff are encouraged to attend postgraduate courses. New graduates will be supported through the AHP preceptorship programme led by the Practice Educator team and additional support can be offered by the Pastoral Support Officer.

The Haematology Laboratory at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a well-organised and highly motivated Specialist Biomedical Scientist to join our friendly and dedicated Haematology & Blood Transfusion team. Our services are based over two acute hospital sites at Conquest Hospital, Hastings and Eastbourne District General Hospital - you will be based at Conquest, Hastings although some cross-site working is required.

The Department is fully automated in its analytical platform for Blood Transfusion (Ortho Vision), Coagulation (Sysmex CN6000), Special Haematology (BioRad Variant II) and Haematology (Sysmex XN1000/2000), and uses the iLab/Apex Laboratory Information system. LIMS is due to be replaced in 2026 with Winpath Enterprise.

Full 24/ hour, 7 days a week acute services are operated at both acute hospital sites. Candidates will be required to participate in the full shift rota, covering weekdays, nights and weekends after suitable training and assessment.

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person to join our team of Finance professionals. We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Credit Controller.

You will be a self-motivated, pro-active individual with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. You will be able to analyse, interpret and present finance data including aged debt reports, to both finance and non-finance staff.

This is challenging role in a complex and dynamic environment. The organisation is looking for a skilled Credit Controller with outstanding attention to detail. You will have the opportunity to support the key functions within the Financial Services environment. This role is crucial in supporting the cash position.

The successful candidate should have previous Credit Control experience . Knowledge of NHS Finance would be an advantage but not essential.

This is a challenging role. The post holder will have responsibility for daily monitoring of the aged debt position, liaising with both NHS organisations and private individuals to ensure the debt position is below the required level. The post holder will also support the Financial Services team in reconciling complex data and cover of cash office duties when required.

Working as part of the Orthopaedic Practitioner Team.

To be responsible for providing specialist orthopaedic service within orthopaedic outpatients to include casting and splinting assessments and application of treatments whilst working to deliver a high standard of patient care within a multidisciplinary team


 The post holder will be required to lead orthopaedic/diabetic feet outpatient clinics for the application and removal of casting materials and complex orthotics and splints/braces and bone healing systems. This will include a review and follow up service
 To provide a comprehensive orthopaedic casting service Trust wide. To include the emergency department, podiatry, vascular services, therapies and inpatient areas.
 The post holder will continue to professionally develop in line with the British Orthopaedic Association guidelines / the Nursing and Midwifery Council Code of professional standards to facilitate learning and contribute to the professional development of both

medical and nursing staff.
 The post holder will carry the plaster room bleep during normal working hours and be available for timely support and advice across the wider Trust. Where intervention and support is required.
 The post holder will be required to support, teach and develop trainee orthopaedic practitioners, junior medical and nursing staff.

Are you looking for a new & exciting role? We are looking for an Operating Support Officer to join our Nutrition and Dietetics Team at East Sussex Healthcare Trust.

To ensure that the Head of Service / Service Manager portfolio is managed in line with Trust and National Policies and that all documentation is maintained in line with information governance principles.

Ensuring effective patient flow and timely assessment and treatment for all patients referred to service. Monitor and evaluate waiting times and RTT’s and support workforce development.

Preferably 6 months experience of working as part of a team managing projects within service to ensure service innovation and improvement.

Experience of delivering identifiable changes across speciality pathways , tracking improvements and identifying opportunities to further improve process and pathways . Experience specifically associated with Dietetics desirable but not essential.

Supporting data analysis for reports, capacity and demand, risks (health and safety, risk register entries), workforce data.

Experience in identifying and escalating appropriately areas of risk.

Demonstrable experience in supporting senior management team to deliver financially efficient services within budget.

You will be an excellent communicator, able to work independently and in a team, as well as being organised and confident.

Close working with team leads for clinical specialties within the Dietetic services to ensure productivity of clinics and management of patient flow.
