The opportunity
As Finance Transformation Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Finance
- Group with the multiple significant digital transformation, continuous improvement and regulatory reporting change initiatives and programmes taking place across the finance function. As we accelerate a net zero future the organisation has an ambitious growth strategy with a plan to deliver significant finance transformation activity, including an ERP implementation in the near term. This role will be pivotal in building a finance function that is fit for the future.
What you’ll be doing
As Finance Transformation Manager, you will be responsible for leading the finance transformation activities for the finance function in accordance with the enterprise wise change framework. With the organisation continuing to grow exponentially, increasing our use of systems and automation tools needs to match this. This exciting role will lead on multiple change and improvement initiatives along with the groupwide finance transformation programme, including the implementation of a new ERP system and subsequent continuous improvement and automation activities.
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive finance transformation roadmap aligned with the organisations strategic goals.
- Managing the direct and indirect teams engaged on finance transformation activities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Providing training and support.
- Managing the planning, execution, and delivery of finance transformation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Leading the implementation of a new ERP system, including project planning, stakeholder management, and change management.
- Utilising project management methodologies to track progress, manage risks, and ensure successful project outcomes in line with the organisations Business Change Project Management Framework.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
- Identifying inefficiencies in existing financial processes and implement solutions to streamline operations and enhance productivity end to end.
- Driving automation and digitisation of financial processes to improve accuracy and reduce manual workloads.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that finance requirements are incorporated into business processes and systems.
- Developing and executing financial systems and technologies that support the transformation goals.
- Establishing best practices for financial management, reporting and insight generation across the organisation.
- Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of emerging financial technologies and their potential applications.

- Experience in finance transformation, including experience leading ERP implementations and automating financial processes.
