What you will be doing You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with Learning Disabilities and Autism, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recover pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life.
Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.
It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you’ve made someone’s life better.
As a Support Worker on our bank you’ll be on a zero hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose which shifts you want to work each week.

Walcott House is part of our Learning Disability and Autism division and provides a specialist residential service for men and women with a range of learning disabilities, including autism and sensory communication impairments.
The house provides spacious accommodation and communal areas. There are nine full en-suite bedrooms, two lounges, a sensory room and a fully enclosed gardens. It is situated in Bognor Regis in West Sussex.
