Here in Main Theatres Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital we are looking for a person to join the team as the Theatre Administrator, as we strive to provide high standards of care for all who come through our doors. • Maintain a robust approach to data quality and patient confidentiality whilst handling confidential, complex and sensitive patient clinical information.
• To Understand the basics of the Nexus Theatre System in order to act as the first point of call for all queries.
• Undertake daily data quality checks of the data within the Nexus Theatre system, identifying and rectifying errors as necessary, cascading and unresolvable issues to the System Administrator (SME Theatres) as appropriate.
• Write queries and extract data from Nexus Theatre System Database to produce weekly/Monthly reports. Support staff with ad hoc data requests
• To report the daily “Sitrep” to Business Intelligence in a timely manner.
• To ensure all changes made at the weekly programme meeting are reflected in the Nexus Flexible Scheduler as soon as is practically possible after the meeting, ensuring the scheduled surgeon and anaesthetist are also updated to reflect the change.
• To ensure all emergency patients are loaded onto the Nexus Sapphire Theatre System and that they are loaded in full, correctly and into the correct theatre slot.
• Undertake specific pieces of work/projects from time to time as directed by the clinical theatre leads.
• Assisting the Matron in monitoring the progress and performance of her ward areas.
• Finally the Theatre Administrator will be expected to line manage the Ward Managers Assistant and support the theatre team
