RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

• The role holder is responsible for developing, driving, and delivering Affluent card product in key markets centrally to support Bank’s affluent growth agenda for WRB globally.
• The role would also be working with country CC teams to drive its transformation towards growth & profitability. This includes ensuring alignment of these strategies with the relevant country level stakeholders and close partnership with the markets on execution, along with associated financial and non-financial targets and reviewing performance against these targets.

• The role holder is directly accountable for delivering Affluent credit card launches across markets. He/she is also the subject matter expert for Credit Cards product management, with accountability of CC performance from both singular vertical standpoint at product level as well as segment-wise in growing Wealth for our affluent base.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The role holder is responsible for leading the development of global Credit Card Portfolio Optimization strategies for Existing to Product (“ETP”) customers within the context of the wider global Credit Cards & Personal Loans (“CCPL”) strategy.

• Leveraging advanced analytics and collaborating with risk teams to provide thought leadership on risk and pricing frameworks to enable markets to deploy portfolio management strategies that are EVA accretive and within risk appetite.

• To assist RMs based in Singapore of the GSAC Team in identifying, negotiating and closing, Credit facilities to PvB Clients and Prospects, while ensuring the further development of the Credit product offering. Deal origination and execution for the dedicated coverage region:
• Evaluate and understand risks associated with highly complex structured transactions and structural elements which can mitigate risks or make the deal more attractive to the insurance market;
• Structure insurance cover in the most suitable way to mitigate risks for the bank’s hold position, to enable the bank to underwrite large deals, to make the deal economically attractive, to enable a useful solution to meet client’s requirements, and/or to make the deal more attractive to potential participants including institutional investors and banks;
• Contribute to deal origination and structuring discussions to ensure credit insurance is considered for returns enhancement on all deals;
• Pitch suitable deals to the insurance market and address underwriters’ concerns;

• Negotiate premium rates to ensure efficient capital utilisation and optimised returns on deals;

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

· Achieve global wealth management’s strategic priority to grow and deepen our Wealth client base by driving and enhancing our advisory proposition.

· Help embed, deepen and support Standard Chartered’s advisory framework (SC Wealth Select) across all markets and products to drive better, more consistent advisory engagements and grow resilient Wealth income.

· Collaborate directly with key stakeholders such as CIO, WM Product teams, and WM country teams to develop new (and enhance existing) ways that we communicate our house views paired with solutions to the frontline and clients – including Jumpstart events, SC Investment Roadmap pitchbooks, Wealth Huddles, Espresso meetings, Global Market outlook events etc

· Strengthen our HNW and UHNW proposition through advisory, incorporating value-add services such as access to INSEAD trained IAs, regular portfolio reviews, and digital advisory tools for stronger advisory conversations

· Shape and deliver digital frontline tools that empower RMs to have better client conversations - combining access to market data, CIO views and advisory content (Marketanalyst tool)

· Enhance all advisory training including the SC INSEAD Wealth Academy, and online learning advisory modules to train and upskill our RMs, and scale our advisory messaging globally.

· Drive a data-driven approach, proactively generating key customer insights/intelligence as a key enabler of WM business growth, leveraging data scientists from the Bank's analytics center of excellence to inform advisory opportunities and/or risks, and develop appropriate strategies and actions to capture such opportunities.

Business

· We have an ambitious goal to grow our Wealth Management and Managed Investments (MI) business significantly.

· This role will support the Head of Advisory Solutions with growing the Wealth business through advisory-related initiatives; support the management of advisory solutions strategic agenda aligned to the AMI (Advisory, Managed Investments) strategic agenda, and ensure alignment to the Global WM Strategy for Standard Chartered Bank

· Champion end-to-end advisory framework (SC Wealth Select) to ensure consistency across regions and segments

· Oversee the management of advisory framework to track quantitative & qualitative performance measures

· Help drive alignment with CIO function and country teams and drive effective communication of our house views translated into Investment Ideas and propositions to help grow business franchise and improve client experience across our footprint

· Work with global advisory teams to build an ‘Advisory Brand’ using advisory champions who act as ambassadors for their markets to embed SC Wealth Select into their DNA

· Curate and deliver frontline educational materials to promote investment ideas in line with house views to ensure that our specialists and RMs are better equipped to engage our clients effectively.

· Strengthen our HNW and UHNW proposition and help simplify processes for our affluent clients

· Use shape of book analysis work across markets to provide oversight on health of portfolios and bring structure and rigour across markets

· Own and lead the work on Portfolio Insights tool and embed it into the advisory process

· The role requires the employee to be highly articulate, have strong presentation skills, have high attention to detail, and be comfortable with communicating and presenting to a varied set of audiences like customer facing teams, senior stakeholders, data and technology teams

Data Analytics

· Help define and establish wealth analytics as a key enabler of WM business growth, leveraging data and new analytics methods, leveraging data scientists from the Bank's analytics centre of excellence

· Embed and champion data-led sales and advice through driving the use of data visualisation dashboards to track sales activity, wealth product penetration, as well as use data to drive insights and next best action for RMs

· Use excel and VBA skills to extract and clean data from existing data repositories for use in data dashboards and sales reporting

Processes

· Work on delivering and embedding a consistent Portfolio Review process across all markets, enabled through the myWealth Advisor tool.

· Deliver on our Priority Private promise that all PP clients receive a minimum of one portfolio review per year by a qualified IA.

Risk Management

· Identify gaps and weaknesses across the end-to-end advisory process risk and control environment and monitor rectification as required.

Our Ideal Candidate

Job Role

As a successful Analyst within the International Corporates team, you will provide proactive, comprehensive and timely credit analysis to Relationship Managers and the Credit community. Your daily job would include:

Key Responsibilities

· Provide Relationship Managers with client insights in relation to an industry sector, client information and account plans

· Manage ongoing quality of portfolio, producing exception reports, review credit extending across entire portfolio to ensure consistency of approach

· Educate Relationship Managers on macroeconomic fundamentals impacting their credit portfolio

· Provide creative recommendations to Relationship Managers by monitoring peer groups & competitors and undertaking industry reviews based on non-standard industry / company information / data (equity, credit reports, press and magazine reports)

Job Summary

Assist Regional Head CPM ASA to establish and drive CPM strategy for ASA region.

Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

· Responsible for supporting the development and driving execution of the Global Credit Cards Target State Service model within the context of the wider Global Credit Cards and Personal Loans (CCPL) strategy. Role holder will be responsible for development and execution of roadmap to right size cost to serve.

· This role will work closely with Group, Region and Country level stakeholders to design & implement credit card servicing strategy (incl design & delivery of new capabilities, simplification & continuous refinement of existing capabilities) to optimise financial and non financial results on the Existing to Product (ETP) global credit card portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

· The role holder is responsible for supporting the development and execution of global Credit Card Servicing strategy for Existing to Product (“ETP”) customers within the context of the wider global Credit Cards & Personal Loans (“CCPL”) strategy.

· This includes agreeing these strategies with the relevant group, region and country level stakeholders, along with associated financial and non-financial targets and periodically reviewing performance against these targets in line with the Group’s performance management framework.

· Country CCPL GMs are accountable for the CC ETP portfolio profitability and performance and the role holder is concurrently held accountable for the creation and implementation, as well as, financial and non-financial results of the recommended customer servicing strategies for optimizing returns on the ETP global credit card portfolio.

Business

· The role holder is accountable for developing, socializing and helping drive implementation of servicing strategies to enhance ETP Credit Card Portfolio efficiency and returns, and for delivery technologies that satisfy the needs of the business, and are in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including:

· Conceptualise, design and develop the Target State Service Model leveraging insights from voice of client, CPBB and CCPL transformation agenda and collaborating with the respective Operations and Risk teams in Group and Country.

· Maximise the business and customer value of services by ensuring delivery of the ‘right thing at the right time’. Collaborate with key stakeholders to help eliminate, simplify, optimise or develop relevant processes, propositions, policies to enable the target state service model roll out.

· Responsible to work in partnership with Design, Technology and Digital teams to drive the technology/capability roadmap to achieve optimum outcomes in line with target state strategy.

· Enhance prioritisation & decision frameworks relating to client servicing backlog and ensure data driven prioritisation in alignment with strategic outcomes and scorecard.

· Work closely with Fraud Risk, Credit Risk and Collections teams to set risk appetite, review & optimise strategies to improve business efficiency (fraud losses, collection costs), portfolio returns and client experience.

· Product owner for strategic transformation programs involving CC efficiency/cost to serve agenda.

· Collaborate with Finance to understand and drive transparency into cost to serve across focus markets to facilitate effective decision making on transformation agenda.

Our Ideal Candidate

· University Graduate / MBA preferred

· 8 years financial services experience, with 5 years in Cards, Retail Banking or Payments.

The Role Responsibilities

To assist in providing lending solutions in the Private Banking, across all the key footprint markets of Standard Chartered Bank. In essence, to proactively propose bespoke financing solutions in meeting the requirements of our Private Banking clients, including helping to diversify and build their personal wealth. On the other hand, keeping an analytical view and assessment on the underlying risks whilst proposing mitigations to address such risks and upholding the values of Standard Chartered Bank.

Strategy

• Support lending strategy for the PvB locally and globally

Business

• Analyst / Associate based in Singapore.
• Assists in the analysis and assessment of bespoke financing cases, in conjunction with the relevant teams. This would include analysing and evaluation financial conditions, operations, market position of the underlying company.
• Working closely with a senior lender from start-to-end in execution of loans
• Prepare appropriate client proposals, pitchbooks, industry updates
• Track market and general financial and economic developments
• Participate on identified projects to spearhead lending initiatives
• Collaborate with frontline, other support functions, business partners, and product specialists to deliver One Bank and provide effective client solutions.
• Support the delivery of the Private Bank business’ short and longer-term objectives.
