Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for processing purchase ledger invoices for all Group companies and handling ad-hoc purchase ledger queries under the supervision of the Purchase Ledger Coordinator. You will maintain the suspense accounts, ensuring timely authorisation of invoices, and manage the filing of invoices and matching with purchase orders. Additionally, you will need to liaise with suppliers for account reconciliations, collate company card statements and receipts, and monitor accounts emails to ensure all messages are appropriately addressed. You will also work with business support regarding procedures for expenses and credit cards, download and check expense statements, and administer company petty cash and related documentation.

* Possess experience and a good working knowledge of Excel and Sage.
* Be able to demonstrate accurate data entry skills.
* Be able to hit the ground running within a fast paced team.
* Possess the ability to work as part of a team and alone.
* Possess a proven ability to organise and prioritise your own workload to achieve deadlines.

Your New Role
A team of three credit controllers reports to the Credit Manager.

Take full ownership of the invoicing process, collaborating with account managers to capture all necessary information.

Your new role
In your new role as Finance Manager you will manage a team of three Management Accountants who collectively look after over 12 entities. You will be responsible for implementing best practice processes and controls in place around all aspects of the general ledger posting and reconciliations processes, implementing timetables and checklists for work to be completed. You will take a lead on cost and revenue transactions are posted accurately for all operating and management companies in the Group. You will look after all associated balance sheet reconciliations are performed accurately and in a timely manner. You will support the Financial Controller with additional adhoc commercial duties.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Finance professional with experience working within a large complex organisation, ideally within the Property and Construction sector. You will have a strong attention to detail and be able to challenge existing processes and suggest improvements. You will have the ability to communicate to all levels both within the finance team and across the business.
