Job Details
- Acting as a vehicle and engineering subject matter expert, contributing where required to support colleagues and knowledge management material
- Supporting, investigating and challenging external engineering assessors, ensuring the right customer and commercial outcomes are achieved first time
- There will be a strong focus of undertaking audits of engineers and external suppliers and taking appropriate actions where required
- Feeding back to colleagues, customers and their representatives and supplier partners
- Managing and oversight of independent engineering use across claims, delivering targeted benefits and identifying opportunities to streamline our processes
- Managing work allocation and distribution
Skills we would love you to have
- Technical claims experience within engineering or repair management and knowledge of motor industry (bodywork or mechanical knowledge)
- Experience using computer estimating systems
- Ability and confidence to develop and maintain strong working relationships and able to discuss strategy with external stakeholders
