A global manufacturing company in Cardiff are recruiting for a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Finance Director and managing a small team, this is a key appointment for the Finance team and wider business.
This role will oversee the daily activities of the team and be involved with strategic projects thereby contributing to company success.
Finance Manager duties
Month end duties including production of management accounts, in an accurate and timely manner.
Day to day management of the finance department, ensuring compliance with company procedures and processes.
Liaising with the Finance Director on areas such as budgeting and cashflow management.
Overseeing the planning and arranging of supplier payments.
Address financial concerns with a focus on optimising processes and ensuring accuracy.
Implement cost-effective practices and adhere to budgetary constraints.
Generate necessary financial reports and ensure accuracy in processing financial documentation.
Stay informed on regulatory compliance and financial best practices.
Take charge of health and safety procedures within the financial department.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights for decision-making.
Work closely with the operational department to ensure stock accuracy.
Finance Manager person specification
ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified.
Demonstrable experience of leading a team.
Strong organisational and leadership skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent data analysis and reporting ability.
Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
