About the role

As a Senior Implementation Consultant you will join the Implementation Services New Business department and be responsible for the onboarding of new plans, transfer plans and internal conversions. You will get to lead all elements of implementation events and tasks that include scope analysis and coordination with multiple internal and external parties. You will be a proactive and strategic consultant to our partners by communicating the implementation plan, including key objectives and solutions, scheduling, tracking and reporting to all parties. Best of all, you will become the primary resource for subject matter expertise on retirement plans and the implementation processes. As an influencer at Corebridge Financial, people come to you as a “go-to” source for help and support because of your deep knowledge and expertise. • Provide consultation to internal/external customers on timing for implementation achievements.
• Analyze and effectively communicate broader operations aspects to help influence decisions across departments for services being implemented.
• Work closely with the assigned Relationship Manager, ongoing Account Manager and various internal business partners to ensure a smooth transition at the end of the project.
• Attend Finalist and Kick-off related meetings and facilitate regularly scheduled meetings with the plan sponsor, executive sales team, TPA’s, vendors, and our internal subject matter authorities.
• Provide consultative solutions for Corebridge Financial's standard methodologies and ensure details are understood so that our administrative processes and system(s) are established correctly to include but not limited to plan design details that affect pricing, eligibility, data exchanges, contracts, and transactional processing.
• Develop, communicate, maintain and lead the detailed project plan, timeline for account implementation projects and ensure achievements and success criteria are met or exceeded through timely coordination and communication of the details vital to complete an account implementation project by the agreed upon effective date.
• Identify and lead timely and effective resolution of any issues that surface during the handling of all assigned duties. Track and report implementation activity results in a “real time” fashion via internal Implementation databases and reporting tools.
• Conduct lessons learned at the end of each implementation phase for continuous improvement purposes.
• Develop and complete plans to improve customer satisfaction and overall quality.
• Identify out of scope services and bring up as needed to ensure all services are included in pricing.
• Must be proactive in handling issues by anticipating the outcome of the process and ensuring all vital steps have been taken.
• Model and mentor others on Customer Service Excellence within Implementation.
• Develop key strategies for retention and future business wins through the interactions with Implementations Services.
• Identify gaps and facilitate training needs within the team.
• Perform final quality review for all internal systems and external client facing systems for implementation related items.
• Review and participate on RFP process for new business to identify potential solutions based on Implementations Service model and scope.
• Develop knowledge/content management strategy with accountability for maintenance of Implementation Tools and Reference Database.
• Coach and mentor Implementation Consultants to create capacity and efficiency within department.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• Minimum 5+ years of related experience is required.
• Extensive project management experience with solid knowledge of the various retirement plans and subsequent provisions.
• Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation.
• Proficient with computer software.
• Ability to analyze data, identify root cause, and provide and/or develop an appropriate solution for resolution.
• Proven experience handling multiple priorities.
• Proactive problem-solving ability with solutions-oriented demeanor.
• Ability to work independently within a team and make decisions while considering client requirements.
• Ability to travel on occasion as needed.
• Successful completion of relevant professional designation preferred (i.e. CEBS, ASPA); but not required.

• Review, write and maintain illustration text which is compliant with state regulations

• Create standard operating procedures for the Illustrations and Actuarial support teams.

• Manage the Illustration’s team deployments by monitoring deployments of our applications and providing updates and sign-off to various teams

• Support the Quick Ticket Platforms such as providing support for onboarding new Agencies, Providing requirements for App updates and improving digital processes

• Jira Admin for the illustration’s Team Projects- Create Projects and assign tasks for the various teams in illustrations

• Provide BA backup support for the Automatic Underwriting Solutions (AUS)  project team & the Illustration Regulatory team.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or 3+ years of experience in a research & data analyst role in a business support environment.

• Strong research and analytical skills. 

• Knowledge of project management methodologies and complex Life Insurance products

• Broad understanding of the legal and regulatory environments surrounding insurance Illustrations and regulations

• Knowledge of insurance systems, especially systems such as ALIP, CFO, LifeComm, ULA or Vantage AIG systems

• Ability to leverage programs like Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to review data, create analysis and share findings in writing to both internal and external parties.

• Familiar with using JIRA defect system

• Requires a demonstrated record of initiative, adaptability, real-time problem solving and decision making.

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Excellent communication and business writing skills is a must

• Ability to work with limited supervision and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Regional Vice President – Life Sales – Partners Group Distribution Channel

Job Overview: The Regional Vice President (RVP) for Life Sales is the central resource and relationship manager for their assigned territory.

Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development of Corebridge Financial Partners Group Life Sales, this position’s primary focus is on business development with responsibility for product positioning, marketing strategies, planning, research and problem solving.

Job Functions/Responsibilities:
The RVP is responsible for developing regional business plans that achieve and exceed sales targets for their assigned territory

• Prioritizes business plans through MGA segmentation in order to achieve highest return on sales production
• Continuously analyzes territories to assess market changes or trends, personnel changes or relationship needs, and revises business plan (visits, trainings, etc.) accordingly
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with MGA members in order to establish and achieve sales targets. Serves as the initial contact for problem resolution. Researches accounts and/or elevates issues to solve problems
• Leads or coordinates training, webcasts and conference calls for MGA staff
• Proactively sets sales meetings, visits and prepares agendas in advance (going in with a purpose). Afterwards, summarizes next steps and follows through on commitments
• Partners closely with assigned Internal Wholesaler and/or Strategic Account Manager, providing continuous communication on sales ideas, case management and MGA needs in order to advance sales within region
• Actively manages informal/formal applications to maximize placement and production
• Organizes and maintains orderly files on all customers
• Reports sales activity and production as required
• Maintains successful relationships with internal clients including but not limited to Marketing, Compliance, Underwriting and Operations
• Maintains ongoing knowledge on industry trends, UW regulations, advanced marketing concepts and company products
• Leverages the Company’s expertise by working effectively with areas such as Product Development, Competition & Research, Advanced Sales, etc.
• Consistently looks for “value adds” through service and selling ideas
• Keeps an ethical and compliant region based on company and regulatory standards
• Operates the region on a cost effective basis within budget as determined by the company
• Travels a minimum of 70% of the time

Job Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Life Insurance, IUL, UL and Term, and familiarity with Advanced Sales concepts
