About the Role (your why)

Due to continued growth within our team, we have multiple roles across Australia. Working as a Desktop Support Engineer you will be responsible for the provision of all aspects of Desktop Services to a key Datacom customer. Aligned to our customers business requirements, we provide tailored maintenance services, hardware and software break/fix support, remote support, software deployment and relocation services.

The location of this role will be based on-site in Grafton. To be eligible for this role you must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain an AGSVA Baseline clearance. 

What you’ll do

At the moment, as Desktop Support Engineer you will be focused on:

• Providing excellent technical support in a high-paced environment where customer satisfaction is paramount
• Assisting new users with their IT hardware collection and setup.
• Ensuring new equipment, such as Laptops and Mobile phones, are up to date and deployment ready prior to release to customers
• Recording all customer contacts in the appropriate ITSM tool
• Keeping customers updated with regards to their tickets
• Using tools and processes to deliver services to customers in accordance with SLAs
• Proactively manage and maintain customer infrastructure as directed
• Initiate and drive service and process improvement
• Follow best practice methodologies and adhere to recognised ITIL processes (EG: Change/release)

About the role:

We presently have an exciting opportunity within our Engineering Design Service for an Engineering Technician. Our Engineering team is one of the many services that keep the authority running; making sure that Powys is a great place to work, live and visit. On a daily basis our Engineers and Technicians develop new improvement schemes and maintain the existing infrastructure across a wide range of areas such as roads, bridges, schools, housing and leisure. About you:

What you will do:

The Multi Skilled Building Fabric Engineer shall:

Work as part of the Graham Facilities Management Team you will play a key role in planning and completing a range of works with the main responsibility for the completion of planned, reactive and remedial repairs as directed by the Graham Helpdesk on the fire door systems assets and fire compartmentation..
You will also play a key role in planning and completing a range of works mainly associated with joinery, however also experience in tiling, drainage, minor roof repairs, finishes, plastering, flooring etc to building fabric systems or any required minor building fabric repairs dependent on relevant experience.
Provide exceptional maintenance services to our high profile Clients and go the extra mile to deliver to the highest quality standards in all areas of your performance.
Use your own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with reactive maintenance activities, including sourcing parts & materials and seeking manufacturer technical support.
Provide detailed write-ups of works carried out to ensure our client is kept up to date at all times.
Carry out all works within agreed timescales and to the highest standards, ensuring that you comply with current regulations and contract specifications.
Reporting and recording procedures, including operation and maintenance logs and control measures to minimise risks.
Utilise PDAs or electronic devices to complete works.
Liaise closely with our Helpdesk to ensure efficient response to all works either working on your own or as part of a team.
Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered to.
Deal with a variety of Clients on a daily basis. You will represent the Company and be courteous and professional in your dealings with them at all times.
Provide a call out response across all contracts.

Essential Criteria

Demonstrate a general wide knowledge of building systems in relation to reactive tasks encompassing, fabric tasks including PPM, General Building, Carpentry, Wet trade tasks, minor plumbing and ground works
Current Full UK Driver’s License

Desirable Criteria

Fire Door Inspection Course, improve your knowledge of fire doors to become a certified fire door inspector.
Working with SFG20
Fire Compartmentation experience.
IOSH – Working safely or CSCS Card
IT Skills – in the use of PDA’s
Asbestos awareness training (UKATA)

The Role

We are looking for a L2 IT Systems Engineer with at least 2 years' experience providing Level 2 support who is ready to take their technical skills and client-focus to the next level by joining our growing Support Engineering team. To be successful in this role you are passionate about technology and love to work closely with colleagues and clients to deliver an exceptional 'service experience'. You understand the value and importance of IT to an organisation and can demonstrate the ability to analyse complex challenges to identify and implement a solution. About the Role (your why)

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our high-performance Professional Services team on a 6-month contract.

This is a customer facing consulting position that requires exceptional collaborative skills and the ability to build strong partnerships with our customers and within Datacom.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous Professional Services experience with external customers and exposure to all aspects of delivering projects, including consulting, design, configuration, testing and deployment.

Our offices are based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.We like to bring people together in person when we can, but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/ life balance. What you’ll do

At the moment, as the Senior Systems Engineer you will be focused on:

·          In this key cross-disciplinary role you will work closely with our Customers, Partners, Sales and Technical teams.

·          Ensure assigned projects are delivered on time, within budget, to agreed scope.

·          Serve as the technical point of contact for implementation services and solutions. This may either be provided remotely or on-site.

·          Providing pre-sales support and expertise to the sales team.

We are a pretty agile company, and are keen to respond to customer, technology and internal stakeholders’ changing requirements and this can mean we evolve in our roles to meet those needs.

What you’ll bring

To be successful in this role you must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with external enterprise customers in delivering projects in professional services environments.

Must have experience with design, implementation and optimization of:

·          Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange.

·          Virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V, AHV).

·          Have experience in one or both of the following: Backup (Commvault, Veeam) OR Storage (HPE, NetApp, Lenovo & Dell)

·          Automation and Scripting (PowerShell, Python)

You will have a curiosity & passion for customers and a proven ability to communicate solutions in a way that resonates with all levels of our customer’s. You must be comfortable in engaging both technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders.

·          You can work both independently on competing priorities and as part of a team.

·          You'll have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
