Position: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Keysborough, VIC
Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves the design and development of mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet both our high standards and client expectations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong technical background, and the ability to manage projects from conception through to completion.
Responsibilities:
• Reading HVAC drawing, selecting, and sizing appropriate air diffusion equipment, dampers, vavs and other HVAC products as per specification and projects Drawing to perform take-off using advance Software like Bluebeam and submitting tender’s timely basis
• Develop detailed specifications for manufacture while determining the optimal materials, equipment, and layout plans for systems and plant constructions.
• Engage closely with sales and design teams to provide technical advice and support, ensuring the engineering criteria are met for each project.
• Conduct and supervise tests for product development and project-specific requirements using advanced software tools.
• Manage the coordination of project labor, material delivery, and equipment, maintaining strict adherence to engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality control.
• Collaborate with production teams to facilitate the precise coding and manufacturing of ductwork.
• Produce Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) reports for air diffusion equipment, optimizing environmental conditions across different building levels.
Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, typically involving 38 hours per week.
Salary: $70,000-$80,000 plus superannuation per annum.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering or related field.
