Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow market share.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including engineers, procurement managers, and senior executives.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
Technical Expertise & Consultation:
Provide technical guidance and support to customers in selecting appropriate rig solutions based on their needs and operational requirements.
Offer customized product recommendations, including rigs, drilling equipment, and related services.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that client specifications are met and to provide solutions for technical challenges.
Product Presentations & Demonstrations:
Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations of rig products and services to potential customers.
Organize site visits, client meetings, and product demonstrations to showcase rig capabilities.
Proposal Development & Negotiation:
Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including cost estimates, delivery timelines, and terms & conditions.
Negotiate contracts and pricing terms to close sales and ensure long-term customer satisfaction.
Project Coordination & Follow-up:
Work closely with the operations and project management teams to ensure timely and successful delivery and installation of rigs.
Provide after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any issues or concerns related to rig performance or service.
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product advancements, and competitor activities.
Provide regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and market feedback to management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Diploma in related technical field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales or technical sales role within the oil & gas, construction, or mining industries.
Strong understanding of drilling rigs, equipment, and related technologies.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building long-term customer relationships.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of rig equipment and drilling systems, including land rigs, offshore rigs, and related machinery.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate complex engineering concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Sales & Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
