Job Title: CNC Maintenance Engineer
Shift: Permanent Double Day shift
Location: Swindon Wiltshire
Salary £35000 to £42000 per annum + shift allowance (Up to £50,000 per annum inc. shift allowance)
A great role with a fast-growing, established precision engineering business based in Swindon. They are looking for a superstar to join their maintenance team, working within a niche manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities – CNC Maintenance Engineer
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor the multi-skilled maintenance engineer will maintain and repair a range of CNC Mills, Lathes and EDM Machines. This role will work independently to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults to conduct timely, efficient repairs to production machines.
This position will be working on a rotating shift pattern (Earlies and Lates).
Duties –CNC Maintenance Engineer
• Maintaining a range of CNC Machinery by conducting preventative maintenance activities.
• Attend breakdowns, carry out fault finding and repairs to machines/plant equipment.
• Assisting with the installation of new machines and plant equipment.
• Liaising with departments and suppliers regarding maintenance issues.
• Ensuring that health and safety compliance is always maintained.
• Active in creation and implementation of the Preventative Maintenance System.
Qualifications & Requirements – CNC Maintenance Engineer
• Previous experience within a hands-on machine maintenance role in a manufacturing environment (tasks such as electrical/mechanical repairs).
• Proven track record in fault finding ability both in electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Be proactive in a continues improvement nature and motivated to succeed.
• Ability to work independently and work within a small team.
• Qualification in 18th Edition (Electrical) desirable.
• High attention to detail with health and safety practices.
