The Installations & Logistics organization is seeking Electrical Engineers with a focus or specialty in control and monitoring of electrical systems. Candidates with this specialty should be knowledgeable about or interested in learning about Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and electrical control systems, electrical power systems, Schweitzer protective relays, Real-Time Automation Controllers (RTAC) as well as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Knowledge of the protocols used by these devices including mirrored bits, Modbus, DNP, and SNMP is desired.

As an Electrical Engineer at NSA, responsibilities may include:
- Prepare design and construction cost estimates.
- Development of designs for new and renovated facilities.

• Attend spacecraft operations status meetings, trending reviews, and Command Authorization Meetings; evaluate whether spacecraft state of health is being appropriately monitored and evaluate project readiness for operational changes.
• Plan and organize work. Support spacecraft anomaly reviews, to provide technical insight and/or lessons learned to help with anomaly troubleshooting and to evaluate whether project plans cause unforeseen risks.
• Support Root Cause and Corrective Action analysis (RCCAs), to evaluate whether the causes identified by the project are correct and thorough and to evaluate if the actions identified are appropriate.
• Evaluate effectiveness of spacecraft Integration and Testing (e.g., whether tests successful, if ops personnel sufficiently involved); also review and report on quality of ops plans, procedures, training, and sims/rehearsals at milestone reviews.
• Develop familiarity with NASA software engineering requirements, such as those defined in NASA Procedural Requirements (NPR) 7150.2.
• Perform periodical assessments of a project's software engineering processes, comparing those processes against NASA software engineering requirements.
• Review software products (requirements, design, and test plan/procedures), pointing out any deficiencies and/or risks; also support software test readiness reviews and software testing to assure proper software verification and validation.

• You will execute NAWCAD WOLF technical authority flow down from NAVAIR/NAWCAD as the senior engineering authority for the ECH IV to include the areas of Air Traffic Control, Combat Identification, and Shipboard/Expeditionary C5I systems.
• You will be accountable to the NAWCAD Commander and Executive Director for technical oversight of NAWCAD WOLF organic staffing, resources, and products in support of NAVAIR, other Navy, other DOD, Coast Guard, federal agencies and other customers.

• Reviews technical concept papers, develops technical guides, establishes technical architectures for USCYBERCOM programs.
• Plans and conducts broad-based system, network, and statistical analyses to support definition and refinement of requirements for DoD-level IS enterprise architecture policy and process directives.
