• You will serve as a senior Platform Independent Machinery Control System (PIMCS) Design Specialist and will provide technical oversight for the design, development, test and installation of new Navy Shipboard Machinery Control/Monitoring systems.
• You will lead software/hardware design and development efforts and will serve as the point of contact for all project technical issues.
• You will define objectives and priorities and will plan and initiate technical activities, programs and projects to meet Navy's requirements.
• You will monitor and control information systems strategies, test design, advice, consultation and review services to all levels of NSWCPD management and technical personnel.
• You will provide shipboard and test site/facility expertise to develop plans and resolve critical problems.
• You will develop new systems testing schemes or methods.
• You will serve as technical lead for the establishment of new sources of work.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as Data Engineer with at least 3 Years professional work experience
2. Strong proficiency in at least one SQL Development (Oracle, MS SQL, or similar technologies) and ETL Development Tools (Informatica, Talend or similar technologies)
3. Knowledge in Shell Scripting, Hadoop Platform, Big Data
4. Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
   

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Familiarity with Data Modeling and Design
2. Familiarity with Python/R and AWS Service (Redshift)
3. Willing to work FULLY ONSITE (Ortigas)
   

• Serve as an electrical engineer for DLA Installation Support at Susquehanna (SF-SI).
• Determine and/or execute actions for a wide range of engineering assignments that are frequently difficult.
• Adapt precedents or existing strategies to meet unusual needs or special demands.
• Provide advice, assistance, Architect-Engineer (A-E) service access and serves as a principal contributor on team-based projects.
• Projects may include new construction, alterations or modifications to existing structures and facilities of varying sizes and types.
