• Serves as a major subordinate command (MSC) representative on new depot programs

Responsibilities Instructs students through assigned blocks of instruction at basic and/or advanced levels.

• Serves as Astronaut Office representative and crew advocate in Mission Control as a certified CapCom in your area of responsibility (International Space Station (ISS), or Commercial Crew Program (CCP) and Artemis).
• Develops operational concepts, plans, procedures, and real time support requirements for assigned vehicle operations as required for real-time flight control of human spaceflight vehicles.
• Participates in mission, spacecraft, and onboard systems design activities necessary to ensure compatibility between mission objectives, vehicle capabilities, crew safety, and mission success.
• Analyzes integrated spacecraft and payload systems to identify potential in-flight malfunctions and contingencies and develop required corrective procedures and plans.

• Conduct basic and applied research to improve environmental and economic resilience and crop water productivity of various irrigated and dryland cropping systems.
• Develop and refine innovative practices to manage water for sustainable agriculture production for marginally irrigated and dryland cropping systems in a region with increasingly limited availability of water for irrigation.
• Conduct supporting research to enhance the understanding of crop response to water, improve the accuracy of soil water and plant monitoring, and develop and assess water management strategies.

• Participate in all phases of the research within a broad area of research requiring a systematic attack of conceptionally related studies.
• Examine how management impacts greenhouse gas emissions and plant nutrient retention as manure is deposited and accumulates on feedlot/drylot surfaces, processed and applied to soils

• Serves as a lead software engineer in a Contract Management Office(CMO) of the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).

• Ensures its personnel are trained in accordance with SAM surveillance competency certification requirements.

Value Engineering Techniques will be used to: Examine high volume/high value components for design changes, depot repair procedures, substitution of equipment, etc.; to investigate processes and repair procedures for improvement; to design adequate tooling for depot operations not covered by technical data and provides adequate fixtures and equipment for direct production support.
8. Support the Production Supervisors in production meetings and assist in identifying significant issues.

As a Engineering Equipment Operator your duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Operate heavy equipment within accepted parameters (e.g., narrow quarters, such as close to buildings, drop-offs or other obstructions and challenging field conditions such as marshy, unsteady or steep surfaces).
• Clean, replace, or make minor adjustment to such parts as fuel, electrical, brakes, steering, regulators, water/fuel pumps, carburetors, cooling systems or attachments to vehicles or heavy equipment.
• Operate and maintain heavy motorized equipment (e.g. front-end loader, forklift, dump truck, farm agricultural tractor and implements, rubber tired backhoe/ loader, skid steer, excavator, bulldozer, road grader) and other pieces of equipment as needed for project activities.
• Apply shop mathematics, use measuring tools or instruments, follow oral and written instructions, use drawings, sketches, schematics, blueprints, etc. to determine work procedures and details of work layout.
• Use electrical, mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, welding, painting, or other trades skills to maintain, repair or construct a variety of buildings or structures.
