Salary: Starting from £29,000 per annum plus Veolia benefits

Graduate Programme
During this programme, you'll gain valuable insight into our services and strategic projects and we'll help you to further develop your skills and knowledge so that you can succeed in your career. You'll also join our graduate network and receive our continued support throughout.

This will be a 2-year programme providing you with valuable exposure and insight into Veolia services and strategic Veolia projects. This role focuses on Veolia's Industrial, Water and Energy customers in Northern England and Scotland.
As part of the graduate development programme, you will go through a structured development, undertaking health and safety, leadership, business and management modules with your graduate cohort as well as learning more about yourself through 360 coaching sessions and insights profiling. You will have the opportunity to learn more about sustainability and join the wider graduate community.
What will you be doing?
- Take initiative to research options and identify potential solutions from within the industry as well as from other sectors around the world.
- Supporting the business to meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Progressing with projects through the full lifecycle: feasibility, development, implementation and handover - This will involve scoping, design, management of the supply chain and handover to the user.
- Working directly with engineers and operators on plant and supporting operational and maintenance activities.
- Supporting shift teams in the plant operation and learning site safety rules.
Involvement in Health, Safety and Environmental routines and supporting HSE themed project work based around environmental and safety legislation.
What are we looking for?
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Degree level qualification in a relevant engineering discipline in Environmental/ Engineering (to be achieved by September 2025).
- Practical outlook to problem solving
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new things and develop
- An enthusiastic, creative and solution-oriented thinker
