Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products that's quality is recognised as second to none. Due to exciting plans for 2024 they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team working Monday - Friday.
Role & Responsibilities:
Using mechanical skills to resolve breakdown issues
Working on conveyor systems, wrapping machinery, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gearboxes, bearings, chains, pumps
Using electrical skills to rectify faults on PLC systems, single phase and 3 phase motors
Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects - machine upgrades, machine install, machine commissioning
Use of SAP system for all planned and breakdown maintenance logging & stores control
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
A recognised maintenance apprenticeship.
Mechanical & electrical breakdown knowledge
18th Edition Electrical qualification.
Previous experience of engineering / manufacturing role
Lean manufacturing tools and techniques including 5S
