Job Overview

To supervise the day to day planning and allocation of the technical maintenance resource within their respective Region

To supervise the Planned Maintenance Programme for their respective sites, and deliver an excellent reactive service to the property portfolio ensuring compliance with all SLA's & KPI's

To supervise and deliver small replacements projects and update Asset Registers when equipment is replaced as part of Life Cycle or Small Works Programme

Training the team as required including delivering Tool box talks and team briefs

Checking paperwork and service standards completed by the team ensuring sites remain compliant

Complete reports and paperwork as instructed by the Engineering Manager

Take responsibility for your own and your teams training needs and bring them to the attention of the Engineering Manager

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, specific company requirements approved by the Health & Safety Executive and the latest regulations and codes of good practice

Main Duties

-Ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to

-Ensure compliance with the MITIE Maintenance Quality Management System as it applies to this position

-Assist the Engineering Manager in ensuring that all Statutory and Legislative requirements are achieved/adhered to for the sites

-Ensure clients operational procedures are adhered to at all times

Maintenance Engineer
Goole – Up to £40k - Mon to Fri (2pm finish on Fridays)

Our client in Goole are keen to recruit an electrically and mechanically skilled maintenance engineer to strengthen a small maintenance team who maintain and repair all machinery and equipment on site minimise production down time and meet customer demand.

The duties of the Maintenance Engineer include:
Controlling the In-House Preventative Maintenance System, working alongside another maintenance engineer and apprentices as well as alone, ensuring all PPM’S and are up to date
Review existing process, with a view to offering improvement suggestions
The repair of machinery that has been reported as ‘broken down’ in a timely manner whilst meeting the requirements for health and safety
Work with production team leaders and operators to provide engineering solutions to facilitate continuous improvement throughout the business

Maintenance Engineer Requirements: As well as being mechanically and electrically experienced the Maintenance Engineer will be apprentice trained (or equiv), ideally with 17th or 18th Edition Regulations, C&G 2391-52 Inspection and Testing as well as experienced in 3 Phase and Single Phase Motors, Panel Wiring, Ability to Diagnose plc Faults and with knowledge of Conveyor Systems and Inverters and ideally Labellers and Printers
You will be computer literate with a logical approach to problem solving and be able to diagnose faults and carry out corrective activities. You will have a positive approach to work and commitment to continuous improvement and in order for you to pick up parts from time to time, must have a UK Driving license in order to drive the company vehicle

• A recognised industry qualification will be required, and previous experience is

essential.

• Appropriate Combustion/Gas/Oil Qualifications essential.
• ACS Commercial and Domestic Gas Qualifications - CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1,

CKR1, CPA1, COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, ICPN1, CDGA1, TPCP1, COCNG, LP1PD.

Day to Day Duties:

• Ensure all PPM's is carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification and

documented in real time using the PDA to log start/wait/stop completion and travel

times with appropriate comments to evidence completion of work.

• Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive and

breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator.

Complete supplementary documentation / E-Forms relating to the maintenance task

as dictated by your line manager.

• Update customers CAFM system in real time with start/wait/stop completion times

and provide full description of works undertaken, advising of any follow-on works

required.

• Ensure reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in

highlighting areas where improvements can be made. Identify and record all plant

failures using quotation forms and issues to line managers. This is to be indicated and

recorded within the CAFM system.

• Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedies to maintain plant in

serviceable order. In accordance with the delegated authority with the applicable

contract or authorised by the client.

• Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive

works. To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.

• Undertake Point of Work Risk Assessment (POWRA) prior to starting work

evidencing it is safe to proceed. Note any safety concerns using the AIMS system

As part of our growing Engineering family, we are looking for an experienced Electrician to join us as a Mobile Electrical Engineer.

This is a role that is diverse and interesting, as no two days are the same. You will be upgrading, installing systems and carrying out maintenance works, inspections and fault finding.

You will keep the clients updated with any developments, recording all activities, remedial works, inspection logs etc and ensure a high level of customer service and will need good verbal and written communication and comfortable working with IT to record your tasks and updates.

You will be Level 2 and 3 City and Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 qualified with Electrical Installation and 18th Edition qualifications.

You will need to have a driving licence. The ideal candidate would have a background in facilities management, mobile maintenance or construction with project work within a region.
