This role sits within our Finance Platform Engineering team and will focus on work in our Planning & Reporting Lab. You would play a key part in the delivery of the new Oracle Cloud Enterprise Performance Management capability incorporating technology and functional change. What you'll do…

• Help to build out permanent capability in the engineering team to support build of the EPM (EPBCS) components for the Planning team. The roles will replace existing contractors in the Planning Team, initially prioritised on the Cost & Investment management use case.

• Promote the adoption of modern engineering practices, specifically accelerating our technology estate change lifecycle, DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, Cloud computing and Agile ways of working.

• Work in a cross-disciplinary feature team and act as an advocate for high quality engineering. You will be familiar with the Oracle EPM application, including the creation of workflows in BPM (Business Process Manager), orchestrating Fusion processes, as well as reporting and configurating migration through the RTL environments.

• Provide resolution to impediments and issues as well as continually developing yourself. You will also be a passionate advocate of engineering and a champion of engineering principles and practices.

What you'll need…

• Extensive Engineering experience in exploiting functionality in Oracle Cloud products and integration with other software.

• Solid understanding of Cloud hosting and awareness of integration/ connectivity

• Experience of full end-end Oracle EPM (EPBCS) implementation with development and scripting capabilities

• Good knowledge and development experience with Out-of-Box modules like financials, workforce and Strategic modules of Oracle cloud planning would be advantageous

• Experience of writing complex calculation scripts/business rules independently to model various business planning and forecasting requirements within the Oracle EPM Cloud

• Build integrations with discrete Oracle and non-oracle data sources and applications for upstream and downstream data ingestion and flow.

• Building Data Management setup and configuration for consumption and outflow of data to/from EPM

• Extensive SQL knowledge for ETL and migration of data

If so, we may have a role which is suited to you as we are recruiting an M&E Engineer to join our facilities management team at our site based client in Wembley!

• Salary: Up to £36,129 per annum, depending on experience


• 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays


• Additional earnings available through enhanced overtime rates

You'll be supporting your own dedicated site as our client's first point of call for PPM and reactive M&E and other general building services maintenance. Tasks could include emergency light testing, fire alarms, lamp changes, basic plumbing, and fabric work.

You'll enjoy working autonomously, where you will be responsible for delivering planned and preventative maintenance, fault finding and repair work. Ideally, you will have the ability to confidently carry out a range of other mechanical tasks as well.

To be successful you will have:

Essential:

• 18th edition or HVAC experience


• "On the job" experience working in an M&E Engineer role or similar


• Strong communication skills and work ethic


• Awareness and knowledge of health & safety

Desirable:

• F-Gas qualification


• IOSH working safely qualification


• Plumbing experience


• Basic fabric skills


• 2391 testing inspection

Other Information

• The role will involve working 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (including bank holidays)


• 5 days on, 2 days off - Rotating shift pattern


• The role will also involve working 1 in 4 weeks on call
