Liberty has an exciting opportunity for a Gas Installation Engineer to join our team, based in Exeter and surrounding areas of East Devon. You will be working on social housing, on a full-time, permanent basis. You will receive a salary of £30,000 to £39,000 basic per annum (based on experience) Plus OTE of up to £48K, Plus Company Van & Fuel Card Plus Excellent Benefits!

Working hours will be 40 hours per week based on a 6-week rota basis. 5 weeks will be working 8am-5pm Monday to Friday, and 1 week working 1pm to 8pm Monday to Friday and also Saturday 10am-8pm. Additionally, you will be required to participate in the call out rota on a 1 week out 6 basis.

Responsibilities of the Gas Installation Engineer will include:

Standard boiler swop from £200
Installation of Domestic heating boilers, combi swaps/Conversions
Complete works in accordance with specification and gas safe regulations
Completion of all relevant paperwork
Ensure customer satisfaction and safety
Work to operational procedures, safe working practices and H&S procedures
Reporting of all accidents, near miss events or potential hazards
Undertake all other maintenance works within remit
Work flexibly with a diverse range of customers


What are we looking for in our ideal Gas Installation Engineer:

Must have served a recognised Apprenticeship and qualification (NVQ L2/L3) or equivalent
ACS Qualifications CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT

LPG, UNVENTED Oil, solar and renewable/ASHP qualifications are desirable but not essential further training provided
Understanding of gas legislation
Full driving license
Understanding of Health and Safety and working to best practice

This role will is working a 40hr week Monday – Friday within a 10-mile radius of Torquay. You will also be part of our out of hours rota which is currently one Saturday shift in every six.
