What you will do:

• Develop Test Strategies and Plans in conjunction with App Engineering, Architecture and Prod Arch. This includes Data creation and management.
• Identify regression tests for future regression scenarios
• Identify and assure creation of re-usable, automated tests
• Influence Change Management, CI/CD, tools integration
• Modify SDLC to assure proper adherence to Engineering Handbook (including Security)
• Execute all test cases, and detect defects early
• Pretest and validate deployment plans with steps to be taken
• Execute post-deployment verification plans and record results
• Execute resilience testing plan and results
• Eenerate code quality reports (SonarQube)
• Put code through fortify scans via automation
• Assure at least 80% Unit test coverage
• Establish common defect severity definitions across the company so that there is alignment between service tribes
• Complete Web accessibility testing with no open violations for customer facing web interfaces (WCAG)
• Ensure end-customer needs and associated value chain to drive processes and practices to ensure flawless customer experience.
• Complete application vulnerability and penetration testing with no active violations
• Raise any issues with developers and product owners
• Create test automation suite and design necessary documentation for automated processes
• Shorten and amplify feedback loops to deliver products faster and with higher quality

What experience you need:

• Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience with Quality Engineering practices and concepts.
• 5+ years experience leading a small to large-scale software development, testing, and performance across multiple groups.

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) at Equifax is a discipline that combines software and systems engineering for building and running large-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant systems. What you’ll do

• As lead SRE, manage complex system(s) uptime across cloud-native (AWS, GCP) and hybrid architectures

• Create and maintain cloud infrastructure capacity plans using estimation models that meet the expected service level objectives of the system(s). Operate systems at an optimal cost while maintaining availability targets

• Design and build infrastructure as code (IAC) patterns that meet security and engineering standards using one or more technologies (Terraform, scripting with cloud CLI, and programming with cloud SDK)

• Build CI/CD pipelines for build, test and deployment of application and cloud architecture patterns, using platform (Jenkins) and cloud-native toolchains

• Create the communication narrative to influence product, engineering, security, Cloud CoE, customers for the reliability and uptime issues and improvements

• Collaborate with Business Units and other team members to set SLAs based upon past requirements

• Collaborate and contribute to virtual teams in an opensource/innersource engineering model

• Lead availability blameless postmortem and own the call to action to remediate recurrences

• Build relationships and contribute technically alongside internal/vendor engineering teams. Influence the product roadmaps for external services that systems/services are dependent upon

• Effectively communicate to technical peers and team members in both written and verbal formats

What experience you need

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent job experience required

• 4+ years of experience developing and/or administering software in public cloud

• 7+ years experience in languages such as Python, Bash, Java, Go JavaScript and/or node.js
