• Serves as a lead software engineer in a Contract Management Office(CMO) of the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).
• The CMO provides a wide variety of contract administration and support services and implements all agency Software Acquisition Management (SAM) surveillance policies and tools.
• Ensures its personnel are trained in accordance with SAM surveillance competency certification requirements.
• Conducts internal control reviews to ensure the effectiveness of SAM surveillance activities within the CMO.
• Participates with other CMO personnel in integrated product and process teams to assist with determining impacts on contract/program execution, surveillance efforts, and risks.
• Provides a consolidated, integrated approach with surveillance and reporting activities.
• Influences the development of future DCMA policies, procedures, and best practices.

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Structural Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to serve our best clients in the industry delivering challenging major FDOT transportation-related projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Participate in pursuit efforts (development of innovative concepts and win strategies, etc.)
• Team (internal/external) collaboration and coordination during project delivery
• Perform complex engineering tasks and associated CAD work efficiently and accurately
• Final plans, specifications, and estimates development
• Shop drawing review and responding to RFIs and RFMs in post design phase
• Monitoring and mentoring of junior staff
• Leading internal/external progress meetings
• Management of scope, schedule, and budget
• Identification of opportunities for follow-up work

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Must demonstrate experience in delivering final design and post design services for Major FDOT projects including FDOT Miscellaneous Structures and Minor Bridge Design.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, 8+ years of related work experience, is required.
• State of Florida Professional Engineer registration is required.
• Must possess in-depth knowledge of FDOT design procedures, and associated state and federal guidelines/requirements.

$81,500.00 - $142,600.00
