Rail Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Manager required for Light Rail Tram Network in Sheffield.

Hybrid, 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH.
Salary £52K- £56K + excellent benefits package
To manage the condition and performance of the Supertram electrical and mechanical engineering assets (including power, overhead line and low voltage electrical assets) such that the assets are safe and complaint with all legislation and best industry practice, ensuring the client responsibilities and duties as asset owner are appropriately managed and discharged. Develops and maintains engineering standards, specifications and strategic asset management plans for electrical and mechanical assets. Provides assurance of the Operator’s maintenance activities to ensure maintenance is being undertaken as defined in agreed maintenance plans/Key Performance Indicators and engineering risks are robustly managed. Provides technical assurance of asset changes either delivered by the Operator or the client Projects Team, and act as sponsor for such changes to the assets.
Experience Required:
Educated to degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
Proven experience working in an engineering/asset management role within the heavy or light rail industry.
Demonstrable knowledge and technical competence in a discipline relating to electrical and/or mechanical engineering in light or heavy rail.
Demonstrable knowledge of the recognised and relevant associated standards, legislation and specifications for light and heavy rail.
Proven record in risk management of electrical and/or mechanical engineering assets.
Strong Stakeholder Management Skills.
Strong Communication skills.
