Job Title: Engineering Manager - Nights
Location: West Bromwich

Monday to Friday, 10pm to 6am
Salary: from £50,000
Overtime: 1.5x
The Company:
My client is looking for an Engineering Manager to join their team working nights only. The successful Engineering Manager will be working for a leading FMCG manufacturer in West Bromwich.
Responsibilities will include:
- Oversee and manage engineering teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to help team members develop their skills and reach their professional goals.
- Plan, execute, and oversee engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they align with company goals, are delivered on time, and stay within budget.
- Provide technical direction and support for projects, ensuring that engineering standards and best practices are followed. Review and approve designs, specifications, and engineering solutions.
- Work closely with other departments such as product management, marketing, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure seamless integration of engineering projects and responsiveness to client needs.
- Manage resources effectively, including personnel and budget, to optimise productivity and project success.
- Establish performance metrics and conduct regular evaluations of engineering team outputs to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Encourage a culture of innovation within the team, exploring new technologies, methodologies, and improvements to existing processes.
- Ensure that engineering practices comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.
- Work alongside Maintenance Engineers during difficult breakdowns if necessary.
Requirements:
Engineering Manager experience
FMCG Experience
Lean qualification (preferably)
