You will be required to effectively manage a high performing, responsive Design Engineering service by ensuring effective planning and programming of works whilst maximising the productivity of service achieving excellent front line delivery.
You will have responsibility for the following Roads & Transportation Service functions: Flood Risk Management, Structures and Project Design and Implementation.
You will work with the council's senior management team, services and elected members to ensure that the Roads & Transportation Service supports the effectiveness of the organisation and its reputation through effective service provision, communications, leadership and advice on all frontline related issues.
