PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Senior System Engineer is responsible to provide operational support to system infrastructure, support to the clients and resolution of technical issues and conducting root cause analysis. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Delivery

• Gather business and/or application requirements on the infrastructure, conduct impact analysis, suggest design/re-design to integrate the change into the existing environment

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute laser material processing projects, including communication with customers, evaluating technical requirements, preparing and processing customer applications, writing reports and following up with customers;
• Host customer visits and communicate directly with customers regarding applications and technology; mentor customers on process and product details and strengthen their relationship with Hans;
• Support Regional Sales Managers with strategic and key applications, including off-site customer visits;
• Take charge of the Laser Application Laboratory in Hans Singapore including review equipment need and ensure laboratory equipment is maintained in excellent working condition.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering related disciplines;
• 5+ years’ experience in laser marking, welding, cutting and other material processing;
• Demonstrate strong attention to details and ability to prioritize and focus in a dynamic team oriented environment;
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills;
• Ability to travel (domestic and international) to customer site (25% of time);
• Experience in electronics application is a plus.

Admin / HR Function

1. Prepare and administer HR related letters (i.e. employment contracts, confirmation, promotion & etc).
2. Handle payroll, leave and other related matters.
3. Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers.
4. Renew company Bizsafe certificate / company equipment / Singtel / SP services / Dormitory contract.
5. Upkeep data on our in-house work order summary & prepare monthly sales report.
6. Date Entry for Foreign Worker time card & attendance list.
7. Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters.
8. Handle incoming calls and any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Senior.

10. Matching monthly diesel & fuel receipt for company vehicle.
11. Update latest Employee Particular to company assigned clinic.
12. Administer work pass (WP, S Pass) application, renewal and cancellation, apply levy waiver, arrange medical check-up, OFWAS.
13. Arrange & renew CSOC / core trade / training courses.
14. Renew road tax, season parking, Insurance, VPC, COE of company vehicle, Workshop Licence/ Yearly EMA Licence, WICA, Public liability, FWMI

Accounts Function

1. Generate invoices /Delivery order/Purchase Order.
2. Perform full spectrum of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable duties such as payments, receipts.
3. Prepare monthly statement of accounts to clients.
4. Monthly reconciliation against supplier’s Statement of Account and rectifies the discrepancies.
5. Perform bank reconciliation monthly.
6. Monitor AR ageing and outstanding customer accounts.
7. Prefer with MYOB/ABSS knowledge including data entry into the systems.
8. Assist in GST and Taxation filing and reporting locally.
9. Liaise with auditor for annual audit.
10. Assist in submission of employees IR8A.

Job Description

• The ACMV Quantity Surveyor manages and prepares all the cost estimates for the construction projects.
• Prepare calculations and estimations of cost for rendering, and bidding to determining the price of the ACMV service.
• Seeks to minimize costs while adhering to project requirements, standards/specification and Authority requirement.
• Keeps track of the progression of the contract with regards to any variations.
• Good communication and negotiation skills are needed for discussion with stakeholders
• Any other tasks assigned by Contracts Manager/ Higher Management.
• Able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Able to work alternate Saturdays.

Tasks

• Allocate work to contractors and subcontractors to facilitate the smooth workflow process.
• Assess the degree of hazards and risks to ensure workplace safety is maintained.
• Communicate and negotiate with the management, contractors, vendors and sub-contractors of cost estimates.
• Control project scope to meet project objectives in order to enhance project deliverables and key work activities.
• Develop cost reduction strategies to enhance the overall value of the project.
• Monitor project costs to ensure the objectives of the project are achieved in accordance to building contract law.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with standards, specification and Authority requirement.
• Prepare tender and contract documents in accordance to the building and construction regulations.
• Prepare the cost analysis for the project in order to ensure the overall value is enhanced.
• Provide advice on contractual claims so that the project scope is managed.
