Job Summary

We're looking for a meticulous, dedicated, and enthusiastic Elasticsearch (ELK Stack) Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be pivotal in launching new Infrastructure products for Elasticsearch (ELK Stack), aiding in the development of initial product business cases that align with crucial business capabilities, long-term architectural goals, and customer demands. You'll also play a crucial role in supporting our 24x7 Operations infrastructure services.

As a valued member of our engineering team, your responsibilities will extend beyond simply building Infrastructure products. You'll be tasked with leveraging analytics to enhance service quality, availability, and customer interactions. Additionally, you'll be at the forefront of incident resolution and handling issues escalated by customers/vendors. Your role will also involve transferring knowledge from design and build teams to our operations team members, ensuring a seamless transition and ongoing operational excellence.

Required Job Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree and 4 years in Information Technology or relevant experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 6 year Information Technology experience OR 8 years Information Technology experience.

•    Experience with automated configuration management tool and playbooks (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, blade logic etc) and (Docker) containers, and GitHub
•    Experience with cloud infrastructure preferably Azure

KBR is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to support our Xevas contract for KBR’s Science and Space division. 

The Senior Design Engineer will be part of the team that supports the Space Suit Division at KBR. The candidate will work on a collaborative team developing, building and maintaining Space Suits and supporting equipment for low Earth orbit and beyond. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, test, handle implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems using applied engineering principles, including solid and fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.
• Perform engineering design evaluations.
• Perform dimensional tolerance analysis and functional analyses.
• Procure, assemble, and test advanced prototypes to inform design decisions, refinements, and to demonstrate performance.
• Prepare and present designs at various design reviews using MS Word and PowerPoint.

• Assist in the development of requirements for hardware.
• Ensure designs satisfy requirements and demonstrate performance in a thorough verification and validation program.
