Job Description
As the Senior Civil & Structural Engineer your primary responsibility is to lead the delivery of a wide range of Civil & Structural services in both Temporary and Permanent Works. You will oversee the design of Permanent Works for buildings, highways, housing, and infrastructure, as well as Temporary Works design, both above and below ground. Your role will also involve the production of intelligent BIM models to support tender schemes and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of Civil & Structural services in both Temporary and Permanent Works.
- Produce intelligent BIM models to support tender schemes and project delivery.
- Provide design management advice and coordination for bid-winning and project delivery.
- Review and assess third-party designs to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Resolve technical project, construction, and design issues, offering incident investigation, analysis, review, advice, and redesign.
- Lead the development of Group-wide technical standards and design processes.
- Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections to report and advise on SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) issues.
Minimum Requirements
- Technician or Incorporated member of a relevant professional institution (e.g., EngTech MICE, IEng MICE, etc.).
- Five years of relevant postgraduate experience.
- Full driving license.
- Valid CSCS card.
