SENIOR SITE ENGINEER - Dover

Are you a Senior Site Engineer, looking for work with a well established contractor?

I am currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to start work in Dover, with a contractor who is dealing with demolition, paving, civils, groundworks and associated infrastructure. Looking for someone who is good at setting up surveys and helping with estimates.

Day Rate: £350 - £450

Location: Dover

Start date: ASAP

Duration: December

Responsibilities:

• Design work
• Sourcing materials
• Managing workloads
• Reporting to and working with project managers
• Act as a Temp Works co-ordinator
• Identify prelims for pricing
• Liaising with clients.

Requirements:

• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work with in a budget
• Communicate written and verbal information
• Experience in demolition
• Must have CSCS and SMSTS
• Driving Licence
• Commitment to highest level of Health & Safety

If so, NSL are currently recruiting for a Senior Civil Enforcement Officer.

What you will be doing

• Our Civil Enforcement Officers are the eyes and ears of the local community, patrolling areas, providing advice to residents, and members of the public, whilst enforcing road traffic orders.

• You will play a significant role in reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality through the enforcement of parking restrictions.

• Your day will be spent, mostly outside, in all weathers, walking up to 16 miles per day, so please consider this before you apply.

• You will be dealing with members of the public face to face, so customer service must be something you enjoy, sometimes in difficult situations.

• You will be required to work 40 hours per week. (Bank Holiday and Sundays may be required on request) working shift patterns, 07:30-16:30, 09:30-18:30 and 12:00-21:00 including weekends and Bank Holiday.
  

• Shifts vary so flexibility for the role is essential.

• Salary starting at £11.57 per hour, overtime available.

What you will need

• Full UK Driving Licences
  
• You must enjoy dealing with people, be friendly polite, and willing to offer support, advice and assistance to colleagues and customers.
  
• Had experience in managing small teams.

• PC skills would also be an advantage, as you will be using a handheld device daily as well as inputting data on to spreadsheets Via Teams.
