Job Requirement
- Minimum requirement SPM level with 2 years of work experience in wastewater treatment operation and maintenance works.
- Ability to work in a team and follow superior instruction.
- Able to communicate effectively with superior and subordinates.
- Good discipline and work attitude.
- Ability to work in 12-hour shift.
- Abide to all company rules and regulations.
- Able to drive forklift.
Job Responsibility
- To arrange and supervise daily works for operators and assistants.
- To monitor plant unit process/operation, identify any abnormalities and inform superior.
- To check and record daily chemical consumption and inform superior on dosage changes.
- To check and verify dosing rate of chemicals and follow procedure for chemical preparation.
- To check and record daily scheduled waste inventory.
- To perform transfer of chemicals and scheduled wastes.
- To perform repair works on mechanical equipment including centrifugal sump pumps, dosing pumps, AODD pumps, filter press etc.
- To liaise with Maintenance/PEM team on mechanical and electrical issues.
- To collect wastewater samples and send to laboratory for testing.
- To ensure wastewater treatment areas are clean and follow safety, health and environmental rules and regulations.
- Other assigned duties as required.
